@7kn Not sure what campus you are on? The workforce is very diverse and welcoming. HOWEVER, AA in leadership are non existent in leadership and field sales roles for certain orgs particularly SSG and ISO.

@eg7 March ends tomorrow. Guess the rumors were wrong. Maybe in June.

I just feel physically ill because not only did they lay me off and cut my job right when I turned 30 but today I found out they secretly hired the intern at the same time they let me go. They gave the intern my job and my position. When he does not even have a degree yet. They replaced me with him. They don't care that I lost my health insurance

@8q1 for what it’s worth, my manager gave no indication it was coming and others I know who were laid off said the same. I think the managers are told who they have to cut and they aren’t given much notice. Nothing but a number on a spreadsheet to be “reduced”

Anyone hearing anything about corporate teams being affected? Similar to post below, I feel like things are weird right now on my team and am wondering if it's possible upcoming layoffs in the team might be part of it.

@896 wondering what groups are going to be affected in ISG? Marketing? My manager is definitely acting oddly all of a sudden. Keep us posted here if anyone receives meetings. Lot of good people at Lenovo.

@8de you are not alone, that’s for sure. How about seeing endless photos of them at F1 events and golfing with pros and other extravagant events while we all sweat it out every day wondering if we’re next to lose our jobs? That’s the one that drives me crazy.

@OP am I the only one who gets pi---d watching execs celebrating inflated numbers knowing a bunch of us are about to be out of a job?

@896 that sounds right. It’s how the last two rounds have gone. I wonder if they’ll actually can any of the executives responsible this time or if they’ll just keep destroying the lives of little people? (Obviously we know they won’t)

@72d has there ever been a more pathetic collapse than the one with Captain Denali at the helm?

There will be more coming in the 1st half of the year (by June) across the board (IDG/ISG) for NA region. Execs have no idea what they are doing. Building the plane as they fly it, or more like taking it apart. Lots of waste with event funding from Alliance money they get. Watch for expense freeze as the first sign of another round coming.
Many Reps are legacy PC folks and have no idea how to sell ISG and the competition, partners and customers are seeing this. The heritage concern is popping up more and more and execs are ignoring it but customers are not. I can confirm some gov entities have delisted Lenovo and marked them as a buy at your own risk requiring extra signatures. Will be an interesting ‘26

@6jr a lot of them are ready for their retirement. Just ki-ling time and passing on the reigns. Messy state

Has anyone noticed how unbelievably white male-dominated this company is? Watching the isg town hall it's just like a white boy show. Disgusting that there's only one woman. Ashley's lame, disengaged figure head, not to be mean about him but we can all tell he's on his way out to retirement he's out to the pasture already

@6ad it’s hard to tell which groups because that information isn’t provided. NA and Globals were hit hard in the last two and that probably won’t slow down unless Lenovo magically figures out how to compete in the ISG space. The question people should be asking is about the people being laid off. Last round, based on required documentation provided run through AI, average age was 52.5 years old. Based on quick research during an offboarding call, it was mostly white males. Based on conversations with people laid off in the previous round in August/September, those factors appeared to be consistent. So if you’re a white male in your 50s in ISG, you should be looking for a job. Also, don’t think good reviews or exceeding quota or presidents club will save you. Trust me, it doesn’t. One other interesting fact: last round, based on required documentation provided, only 1 VP and 8 directors were cut. Let that sink in. (I’m not accusing the company of doing anything illegal or wrong, just providing perspective)

@17x I think, not 100% sure, they give you a check towards cobra....I just don't know how long/much they give you. Enough to cover 3 months or 6 but it's one lump sum.

It’s unbelievable that senior management thinks anything is going to get better with ISG. Vector and Denali are the same as rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic

One of the guys I personally know that was laid off in November told me Lenovo extended him until March 31. That sounds to me like another round is coming. He’s in ISG hardware PE USA based.
