I am writing this as a parent who watched her son get furloughed and then laid off during Covid. My son after many years of putting his maximum effort in, working countless hours, weekends and holidays, 10 to 12 days in a row. Lucky to get one day off a week. A true hardworking company employee who never called in sick. Volunteered to work through this Covid nightmare (to work and get paid or stay home and get paid) he worked it. His reward for all of his efforts over the years above and beyond the call of duty as an exemplary loyal employee was to be laid off permanently. I would suggest staying away from this company. They have no honor.

I feel sorry for the 40’s and 50’s exemployees, hard to find great job and company truly RESPECT!!!! I was part time transporter My career back ground in finance and managing people.i was in hr and due process out the window reason WARN act through labor department u can’t change new business model without due process 60 days notice or written document of your progress in writing.they will have their in court to explain their acting after this virus gets under control.

Well I’ve been at enterprise 18 1/2 years I know I’m going to lose my job. I know it will be hard for a lot who about to be redundant but a company physically cannot keep people in making a loss. Enterprise is not alone having to lose employees it’s not down to the companies it’s what is happening in the word at this time .I’ve never known anyone made redundant since I’ve worked for the company . Good luck to you all who are about to become redundant.

How about this one, instead of posting a sentence that shows your lack of intelligence, maybe you should still use your insurance and seek some help. I mean, might as well since you still seem like your employed still clearly or furloughed. You really got that great amazing overrated enterprise attitude, which could be if I’m right you still have a job, or they furloughed you due to your horrible personality with hopes you’d get help. You think Chrissy could have handled it better? I’m going to assume that you’ll say no because of a virus, she over purchased cars way too many and now has to start selling off her fleet she has. Enterprise was like that years ago when I worked for them too. They robbed and cheated their employees like mad. I finally made branch manager and was given a branch that had a history of losing money. I was told my commission was going to be based on what the area manager felt were the sales numbers that the branch should be doing, but not what they were doing. In the end, I worked my tail off to make that branch profitable and earned peanuts. I left soon after. Awful awful company.
Really no offense, but your kid isn't special. There are people who have been working for this company 15-20 years being laid off because the virus has absolutely decimated Enterprise. You do realize they are operating at less than 10% of where they were prior to the pandemic?
He'll find another job if he's young and has a decent work ethic. The 45 year old plus crowd won't be so lucky.

They discard of their long time employees like nothing. Same happened to my husband.
That company will lose a lot of its business as they treat employees like trash. To see folks thrown out who have been with them for decades is cold. But in the world, Money is the only motivator.
My Dad was laid off - he's 62. 18 years with the company.
