Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Probably one of the worst places I worked at

I have been in the industry for over 10 years, worked at startups and big firms, but boy, NetApp beats everyone of them by a huge margin when it comes to worst place to work at.

Layoffs during COVID-19 brought me here and while I am thankful NetApp provided me with a job in the time of need, in hindsight I should have worked harder and found another job somewhere else. The damage NetApp did to my self belief and confidence was substantial.

How many of you guys have experienced the same ?

lol, somebody "attacked" this post with thumbs down. The sheer amount of downvotes show that there are greater forces at work here.

NetApp is not a good place to work anymore. Lying sales leadership especially at the director level. Customers I've worked with are not excited anymore about NetApp products and solutions. GK does not care about his employees.

Working at NetApp has ruined my confidence and mental health.

So, I take it you're one of those guys in high school who never had the confidence to ask that girl out? And the regret has weighed heavily on your mental health?

ROTLF!

People should not be shy to come out and say how badly they were treated at NetApp .
I was too - it takes a toll on ones mental health.

I didn't realize how bad of a position I was in at NetApp until I moved out and started working with another employer.

I am not just another bitter person saying this, I really was very caged in my new position and wouldn't feel comfortable with working closely with my colleagues until I realized that they have no semblance to the conniving and back stabbing colleagues that I have had at NetApp

Working at NetApp has ruined my confidence and mental health. The job market is rough right now though so I’m sticking it out for as long as I can. Worst leadership I have ever had to deal with in my career.
