Did anyone see that adidas was in the Portland Mercury about NAM Tech? I always thought our Tech Org was a huge mess, I guess now they are making articles about that.

@7sf I see some downvotes on your comment, I can see why but I believe you were saying this with the realistic mindset that companies in general are going to try to do more with less, and that motivated core teams of FTEs and a clear path for conversion for contractors would create a solid team even if they were not at the ideal headcount.
I definitely agree with this.
@724 agreed here, and they should be converting good talent to build a core team that is motivated to work on more even with less overall people.
This issue was actually caused by global forcing the HCL contract, not NAM tech. This is the result of Herzo forcing policy to a market, without proper management. Not letting the market keep the high quality external management they had - and forcing a “global vendor” who doesn’t care - and taking away market choice.
@x3+1jwvjfg12 Do not think so. Nobody thinks anyone other than himself.
So quiet, I guess our tech team is embarrassed all of these workers seem to be mistreated.
Wow, we can do better, how can we Tech in this state? Technology is the backbone of how we continue to innovate and deliver our product, and we cheap out and hire an abusive company to manage it?
You mean this one?

Not surprised, they need to replace most of the people in leadership there. Any tech support people I come across seem like they are always stressed out. I am surprised they have the energy that show at all.
