Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Here c-m layoffs

Here c-m layoffs, Here c-m layoffs
Right down layoff lane.
Melvin got pink slips
for all us little Lowes pips
And he hates us all the same.
Melvin KNOWs
we all cost him money
and that makes his layoffs right.
So stop yer work,
for this heartless jerk,
Cuz Melvin's layoffs come tonight!

losing one ASM position per store, Full time reduced by 50-80% depending on sales volume. This plan was supposed to go into effect in 2020 but covid hit. All of the major big-box retailers are in on this, even though they are competitors they view the employees as the enemy.

BLowes is way over staffed in management because of Covid. Just like a few years ago you will see a restructure including a reduction in salaried position and a regrouping on how many departments a dm will cover. If the follow depot again 2 new positions may be created but instead of 12-15 dm you will have only 8. Good luck 2/15/23 will be here soon.

Not getting rid of fulltimers?
See the trash they brought in to replace fulltime assemblers? They'll do it

There is no way they are getting rid of full time employees. That rumor has been posted for years . They may not offer full time positions as much and hire more part timers, but I don't see company wide all full time associates being terminated.

The overpaid fulltimers I can see. Let's be honest a 60 to 70 year old fulltimer who gets paid for doing 0 customer service because they can not lift or do anything but makes so much over market value should go. Females of any age getting paid over 16 to 20 + bucks an hour that use there gender as an excuse for other people to do there work for them but expect equal rights and pay should go.

Those people like Marvin sc--w up everything they touch. Look what they did to the Royal Family and NASCAR. Lowe’s has been car jacked.

I used to work for Lowe’s; I quit 3 years ago and moved to a better paying 8-4 m-f job. About once a month I get a phone call from a Lowe’s recruiter asking me to come back. I tell them no because Melvin is in charge. They must go through recruiters monthly because every time it’s someone else.

I fully expect positions going to Temp to Hire, stating with cashiers.
