Agreed, could totally see this. Decades of poor innovation and governance has made ricoh reek of profit desperation. At least Amazon serves a purpose, makes money and has stock that people actually want.
Things could be worse, you could work for Amazon, but somehow I could imagine Ricoh adopting this change. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2021-06-28/fired-by-bot-amazon-turns-to-machine-managers-and-workers-are-losing-out?utm_source=pocket-newtab

Couple days away from July. I do not think these layoffs are legit this time. If anyone has info please share
Not too much longer left in June… Has anyone heard of any more layoffs?
Real information? Come on, you know that’s not how it’s done. Comes out of no where and when it happens it’s done all over to cover the total number count... Good Luck Everybody!
Does anyone have any real information on this?
@6iky+1b4uUrKg, Agreed! What city/region are you in?
@6iky+1b4uUrKg, They don’t care.
Guys, you are loosing customers because of the early out and RIFs during the past couple of years. Most of those were experienced technicians and Management that would engage with customers. Now I can’t get my print jobs done because the Ricoh equipment is down waiting for that one guy in the area that knows how to fix it clears other calls. I am not kidding here. I am going to migrate off Ricoh to Cannon or K/M as soon as possible. I fear Ricoh’s best days are in the mirror. This is not your fault. Blame senior management decisions.
It's so many quitting at my location, I find it hard for layoffs to happen. They can barely get temps in. Those they do manage to get, 90 percent of them leave. Who knows what will happen.

Don't worry with the addition of help lightning there's going to be a lot of subtraction and the guy flipping your burgers at McDonald's will moonlight as your service tech as well
More info please. It has been so quiet again as far as any news on changes.
More layoffs? Is that even possible? Ricoh Headcount will soon be the same as Atari.
Please share if you do.
