Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Too much Toxic

Things are becoming too poisonous with the existing management approach. Plenty of politics. Idle managers sit more idle. The bee workers are kept busy. It is tempting to move out, lowering energy levels. Every day, I see instances that make me wonder why you're working here.
I'm definitely looking for a new job. Market conditions are not favorable, and I do not want to repeat the mistake of joining a poor culture company like Citi.

I was laid off from Citi many years ago and it had a toxic culture then. I have subsequently approached by Citi to come back on multiple occasions and guess what the answer was each time ... hey I kept it polite. I now have a job I love in a company that is good to its staff, out of the frying pan and into a comfy chair. Citi will never change the people are great but management su-ks, so get out, take what you can and be successful somewhere else.

Quit immediately and set up your own business. Focus on what you want to achieve and spare others.
