A worthy and succinct post.
I was an employee in Northern Europe, and wasn't dreaming when I fortunately retired from DXC some four years ago. WFR's were all around me at that time, but I held on to open the exit door myself. Current employees are not so lucky it seems.
Reading recent layoff posts sadly confirms nothing has changed since then, though I notice fewer people are voicing their opinions on this site of late.
Yes, Sal and his immediate cronies are way out of touch with the true workers and wealth creators in the company, but evidently, despite early assurances to the contrary, they no longer care any more.
The middle management are the problem with this company. Stuck in their nepotistic ways, covering their backsides, deflecting problems and blame elsewhere. They are the real reason this company has gone down the pan. Regretfully, unless Sal sacks and replaces most of L3 => L5, nothing much is going to change.
I can't see that happening, so wait for the quarterly results and Wall Street reaction. Hopefully thereafter, you'll get your WFR.
