Thread regarding 2U Inc. layoffs

I dont care about the reorganization

I keep seeing managers and higher ups trying to focus on the "good" of the reorganization/restructure of the company. How it's good for all of us, and to take care of ourselves but to make sure we're still working while we wait to be let go.

I can tell you right now I don't give a f-ck about the reorganization/restructuring of a company I'm about to be let go from. Stop trying to make people feel better about the changes the company is making while you hold an axe above our heads. Either this company needs us to do "important jobs" or it doesn't; but I'm sick of having it dragged out like this.

I can tell you straight up that managers don't know cr-p about what is about to go down. We are kept completely out of the loop.

100%, it's like - shut the f--k up until you've cleared house, then you can pretend this is "for the good" until the plan inevitably fails because you're still applying cosmetic fixes to issues that require complete demolition
