@6fhz+1eG9WuFP, why not?
@6ovg+1eG9WuFP- layoffs did you say layoffs. Working your selves out of work with that mind set. The work load does not support doing more for less. “Did someone say layoffs?” Yep
@6ovg+1eG9WuFP, NO ONE will ever go the record about their objections to TA
@6rle+1eG9WuFP, I'll answer if he won't. Fewer people doing more work and less a-s time for high senior employees. A simple analogy, 3 people screwing in a light blub vs 4 before!
KUDOS to you for exposing yourself. Bit shaken up these days?
Seems like some retirees aren’t enjoying their retirement. Must be a little worried if they are on this website. If they were clean they would care about any of these post.
@6sho+1eG9WuFP, one more time, what don't you like about the details of it?
If you worked on the shop floor. You would understand why the agreement isn’t good for our members. Union reps who never worked on the shop floor shouldn’t negotiate any local agreements.
Forgetting how it was done what don't like about the Consolidation Agreement specifically?
good morning
Did someone say layoffs are coming?
He was fired. Everyone knows. Ex BA bragged about it. Who are you? Ex BA wrote a letter inquiring about “removing an assistant business agent.” A copy of the response he received was handed out. It shows ex BA did not inquire about removing the assistant business agent position, he inquired about removing the specific person.
Holt responded to the inquiry from ex BA about “removing an assistant business agent.” Not about removing an assistant business agent position. It was all about the individual person. I have a copy. Weird if someone is trying to change the narrative now. Way too late for that.
Stop posting names and other personal identifiers, that’s not allowed here, site mods could nuke the whole thread.
@4fxa+1eG9WuFP, as I thought, NO ONE was fired
There isn’t an assistant BA right now because he quit when the current BA was elected. He made it known that he did not want to work under this BA. The position was never filled. The chief shop steward position was eliminated with only an executive board vote. The membership wasn’t given an opportunity to have a voice in that decision. Typical for 301.
Local 301 directory of Officers and Staff shows no Assistant Business Manager position.
@4gxd+1eG9WuFP, is there currently a role in Local 301 called Asst. Business Manager that is staffed. Yes or No?
No. You are not correct.
@4fez+1eG9WuFP, let me repeat, the Asst BA position was eliminated (no longer exist) no one was "fired", correct?
Some people won’t get it until it’s done. Cognitive dissonance is strong here. Some of you think the federal government has been “poking around” for 2 years over conspiracies. Definitely not. Wishful thinking, ignorance, or gaslighting, who knows? Others think they’d waste 2 years of their time and resources to tell everyone that things are great. Again, no. And everyone is ignoring the ugly truth because it means we’ve all been had. Everyone is going to get what they deserve, that is a fact. Btw, a union brother isn’t supposed to sue another union brother yet it happened. Union business is supposed to be handled internally but that was refused. The assistant ba position was eliminated after all of this happened. You really are clueless. It’s not fair for me to debate with you because you don’t have all the facts if you’re asking those questions. You don’t know as much as you think you do or you’re being fed lies. Probably both. Nobody should be celebrating anything. You are the only one talking about celebrating and happiness but then have the audacity to accuse someone else of being happy about criminal findings? Some of us saw the criminal activity first hand. Some of us know what’s happening and what’s coming and nobody should be happy or celebrating.
Let us not be bothered by conspiracy theories of Local 301's own Alex Jones. JFK as----------n, no one walked on the moon, the US bombed itself on 9-11, Area 51 and Local 301 officers taken ill-gotten funds and committing crimes. They been looking into the JFK matter for 60 years, 2 years of poking around at Local 301 doesn't foreshadow any wrong doing. If they were wrong, jail um, in the mean time SHUT UP and let the case run it course, to include no or nominal findings. Please be prepared to embrace that result if it happens,
@4flj+1eG9WuFP, BS, what was the revenge and payback? The Asst. BA job was eliminated not replaced, correct? If it was replaced I'd have your/his back, on a prima-facie case of discrimination but it wasn't, right? If they offered Asst BA role today w/o a stipend would the ex Asst BA take it?
@4flj+1eG9WuFP, why do you "hope", hope yes that your wrong so that folks can get back to their everyday life. It embarrassing! Let's say (play along with me) the DOL determines that funds were legally secured. Now assume the funds are clean and there was some personal crime as suggested, dr-gs, etc. You'd be be happy seeing a union brother go to prison. As you know a union brother can't even testify against another in a grievance. BTW = not pushing back against those that commit crimes, just how ugly it would be if it came down as I've suggested
You can believe anything you want to believe. I don’t think everyone put their careers on the line. When it comes to the union I believe one individual outside of the local did, just one. Others made the mistake of trusting someone they shouldn’t have. At least that’s what I hope. It sounds unbelievable because it shouldn’t have ever been that way. None of that should have happened. It did. A 2 year criminal investigation makes sense if you know details. The outcome is what everyone is waiting for.
Imagine this. Rock solid, no other explanation proof stumbled upon. Omg, shock, stunned, what to do, this is bad. Talk to some, ask advice, help. Help is coming, others talking, great. Realize help was stopped, not coming, it was as close as landing in Albany and told go back. How is this happening? Realize many people know and are doing nothing. This is bad. Others talking, they know, they’re very scared to talk public. Get threatened, then sued, he must defend. Then imagine grieving for what you felt strongly about after realizing it really wasn’t what you thought it was. “There are families involved.” Yes there are. Imagine this, it would be an awful situation if someone sued a family frivolously and had their lawyer tell the defendants lawyer that their client has “an endless amount of money to fight so your client’s best bet is to take our deal.” Then have the deal be to lie. It would be awful for any family to be threatened and faced with that. Could you even imagine if that ever happened to you? Everyone has a family and it looks like someone considered that, tried to keep things internal to minimize damage, while someone else was too he-l bent on revenge and payback. Audits do not turn into criminal investigations because a random person made an allegation. Audits turn into criminal investigations when crimes have been found and/or suspected by the auditor. Nobody has the power to launch a 2 year plus US Department of Labor criminal investigation based on an (unfounded) allegation.
@4kqy+1eG9WuFP, I know full well how the process works. You ought to light up a jo--t and wear a tie die t-shirt and chant, "bring it all down man". Why are/were you unable with your supposed "facts" to persuade the Local 301 Board and membership of your theories. Either your facts aren't solid or your a wholly unimpressive individual persuasion skills wise. That's ok as Clint Eastwood once said, teeth gritted. "A man needs to know his limitations". As a Christian I wish you the best. In the same vein please wish no ill will on others. You should pray every night that your allegations are wrong, that you missed something. You should rejoice in that outcome. Everyone has a family.
@4dtd+1eG9WuFP, you are just plain wrong, with CWA, IUE and the Local all ignoring his "facts", one would conclude they didn't see it his way. Three different groups the ones named above, all would put their integrity and careers on the line to cover up something.
You expect me to believe that BS?
The DOL is doing the criminal investigation. There won’t be any findings until the investigation is over. Go on the website, they publish their audit findings, civil investigation findings, and criminal investigation findings. It’s all done by them. They will include other federal agencies if needed. You are mistaken about how this works or maybe you are thinking about the New York State DOL instead of the DOL at the Federal Level.
In a nutshell. BA said that to the paper because he has nothing else to say, of course he’s going to try place blame far away from 301 for as long as he can. But what you obviously don’t know is that JC chose to deal with his concerns and complaints internally. He did things exactly as stated in local bylaws and constitution. He was told by CWA that IUE would handle it, then told by IUE that local would handle it. Local ignored every single letter, request, etc. They ignored what they were supposed to do according to the bylaws and constitution. They literally did nothing. Then, a union rep was upset about JC being vocal and sued him. JC was sued first, he was dragged into court first. He was ignored when he tried to handle things internally. JC is defending himself. Saratoga County civil suits are public info.
@4zxg+1eG9WuFP, I'm not certain what going on here to be honest. But there are some know facts: 1) The DOL could issue their findings at any time, a criminal investigation shouldn't hold that up. Their question is simple, were funds disbursed in compliance with Local 301 and IUE-CWA by-laws and OLMS, 2) Current BA says regarding the allegations "I don't feel that we did anything wrong, he's trying to put a black eye on the union." 3) It's his right to pursue them, but the ex Asst. BA is seeking damages from the union trying thereby harming the very entity he's supposedly trying to protect. There are two issues here. The union issues and alleged crimes. If crimes were committed those folks, if proven should go to jail, pay restitution, etc. But why bloody up the union, the union brothers that the ex Asst. BA claims to care about. That's my bi--h. Allot hate going on here.
Who is the person that thinks an audit turning into a criminal investigation could mean no findings or even minor findings? Is someone in Schenectady really that d-mb? Is it more than 1 person?
GE is loving that this union is in chaos! The company will reduce jobs soon enough but the criminals will keep their jobs and most T’s will be gone. From 2012 and after will be out the door. T-Be-Gone sounds like a rodent problem to me. So many babies and rats with the T’s.
That “audit” write up itself was contradictory. It did not make sense. I shouldn’t say much more. Also, it was not forensic. Forensic audits are investigative in nature and extremely involved. They’re costly and time consuming so the government will do a forensic audit only if they see “red flags” that give them cause for concern. This has been eye opening, shocking, and sad from the start. Just want it over for everyone.
And now years into an audit that turned into an investigation by the U.S. government. It’s a shame.
I can’t agree just yet for a few reasons. 1. I don’t know who you are.
- Unfortunately, I know too much to feel any sort of happiness. According to the Department of Labor, an audit with no findings or minor findings would have been done and posted on the website within a month or 2. An audit does not turn into a 2 year plus criminal investigation unless the auditors saw something very wrong. It’s not about JC being right, that was never questioned (in my mind). I don’t need to celebrate that. Things that you might question I don’t. I’ve seen things you haven’t, certain things are indisputable to me. It’s been a sad situation for me (us) since day 1.
@2zgy+1eG9WuFP, sounds good! Labor/management peace is always a good thing!
Schenectady is doing great with everything the union and the company are getting along very well in the offices. No complaints union loves everything. The BA talks strike on the floor and then agrees with the company on everything in his meetings. Same old song and dance.
Mark my words, nothing will come of this UNLESS there is political popularity to be GAINED by moving forward with pressing charges. That popularity is the most valuable commodity for political promotion. It's not about what's right or wrong, what's legal or illegal. It's about somebody getting a return on the effort they will invest into doing anything. That includes people who work in the DOJ, DOL, FBI, CIA, RNC, DNC and GE!!
Have you thought that this is bigger than anything you’ve ever been around? Have you thought about what all that money was being used for? You obviously haven’t. Here are examples of some ways. That money could have been used to buy a whole lot of dr-gs. It could have been to pay bribes, it could have gone towards building additions on private property or buying new property. It could have gone towards new trucks or cars for people, it could have been used for many things. Your thinking is way too small if you think this is still only about embezzling money. The bigger issue is what the money was being used for. For example, discovering large amounts of dr-gs were being bought would turn any audit into a criminal investigation. Then other fed agencies get involved and things snowball from there. What the money was being used for will put them away. Again, this is no longer an audit. This is a criminal investigation that’s been going on for over 2 years by multiple federal agencies. You actually think they’d waste all of that man power, time, and money for minor sh-t? Are you really that naive to think 301 and the company is worth all that work for hand-slaps and fines? You’re in for a real eye opener.
