Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Here is how it works

Some insider gets information on closings and posts on this site. The social media damage control team begins posting "links or it didn't happen". Corporate delays a day or two to try to dissuade credibility for the next time. Couple days later stores start announcing closings. Media team tries to confine to local news to prevent the big picture. Rinse and repeat. Anybody posting click bait or demanding links is either working for eddie or inadvertantly helping him. Rinse and repeat.

@6fgg+153mxMdh Key West has both a Sears and Kmart location. Which one is closing (or both)?

Yep, Laredo, Arlington, Key West, Kennesaw , Alaska store..
Call someone who can pull up the Dashboard app and the Se district then pull up the same district in sales flash. Missing stores starts ur ever desired list.

I agree... id–ts. If you were even some how in the know its simple.
Sales flash stores minus Dashboard stores. Dashboard only has forward stores on it. Sales flash does not. I know too much effort for most. Thats right most are just trolls. I left years ago and know how to get the answer. Oh btw, Kennesaw and a chunk of Texas are not on the Dashboard as suggested informed on these post. Call someone who has access. I did. Walked her thru it. Oh , heads up. Walked her thru real estate too. Almost all the missing stores except I think 1..... Transform Co owned.
Something is up.

If liquidation sale(s) begin this week like they reported, then the news outlets will probably start picking them up soon thereafter. It is nice having these notices as a heads-up, so that we know what links to search for. Maybe the jobs site will list some "store closing" labeled positions, we can look at that too.

You’re all id–ts! The next round was already announced to those stores affected! My store is one of those. We were informed last Wednesday that we begin liquidation next Thursday and our final day open is August 9th. So for all of you asking for a list. Transform does not release lists nor do they have to as a private company. Texas was heavily affected by the latest round.

Decent post but does "corporate really delay a day or two to try to dissuade credibility for the next time?" I think it's just the normal process they always go through. Someone with inside intel may know a week or so before it's "officially" announced. That's it. It's not mystery. I don't think they give a sh– about this board anymore. They did at one time but that's long since passed.

Ding ding ding! Don't know why they bother. Not like there's that many workers in the stores anyway, at times literally running the whole floor with one person. You can nap in the break room at the start of your shift and there's no one to hold you accountable, and even if there was, they don't care either. Anyone who's had the intent to leave and can has already left. Some people will give full effort no matter where they are, the newish hires don't know any better, and most are here just to collect a paycheck with minimal effort because no one around cares, least of all the people at the top. Everyone knows the company is dead no matter how many protection agreements are pushed.
