Support schedules

With all the changes does anyone know how support schedules will change ? Front of house and back of house?

Couldn’t have said it bette! I left this unethical company in December and couldn’t be happier. I also went to Target and got a $9.00 per hour increase, better benefits, cleaner stores and a fair work environment for all.
The complete opposite to how Macys operates. Management at Target is not like the bunch of hypocrites running Macy’s. So I agree a BIG FU to Macy’s!

In June the only people left in a support role will be those working on the dock, signing, or fulfillment which won't be a lot of people in most stores. Everyone else goes into the general employee pool (except for Cosmo, Jewelry, and Furniture sales people) and will be scheduled based on needed coverage (not the type of work you are used to doing).

Are you a merchandiser today? You will still be merchandising in the morning AND THEN working into the afternoon ringing up customers. You don't like it? Too bad, why not get a job at McDonald's and tell them you only want to work Fries and not the register, see if you get hired there.

Everyone is going to have to put on the big boy and big girls pants going forward. Welcome to retail 2022.

No one is totally sure yet but I keep hearing boh will work store hours when the customers are there. I don’t think they will come in at 5/6 am and be gone by 11am or 2pm. I’m assuming 8-5, 9-6 or 11-7. But I really don’t know. My SM didn’t even know but assumed the same.
