Will the May MOR be the standard JG 2 and above roles and expat roles? Or will there be additional roles baked in?

Usually for JG2 and above, but there were quite a few 3s and some 4s available. Mostly outside the US though. I saw quite a few in Poland, the Philippines and India. All local terms. Regardless it's always good to check even if not looking for JG2. Sometimes people get lucky. I've seen a few cases that got a great position 4 or 3 and there was barely any competition. Recently a colleague got an Expat JG4. Even in this environment
If you go to open resources search form, go to the BATCH field and Type "MOR" and wait a few seconds, you'll notice that "MOR July 2020" and "MOR October 2020" are two of the options that pop up.
@6ccs+14VTy0sV, if you recieve the job the oay stays the same, but the associated bonus is given at the liwer job grade
What happens if you post for a job that’s a level or two below your current job grade?
Incidentally friends, the people who stay, and people who go in MOR are pre-determined. Is your team-lead still talking to you? Did her supervisor suddenly disappear on vacation? Use your HR intranet to check your performance score. If it was updated in the past few weeks by one person (usually your line manager) and not by typical 3-person committee, AND it went down by ANY amount, you are out. Spend your MOR period looking for a new job outside Shell. No manager or team-lead will take you on - except as a favor to former team-members, friends, or returning expats. People with under 3 years are typically ring-fenced. Unless the law.changed, people in NL should be able to stay with the company by law (but will be pushed out by receiving meaningless assignments following re-org).
Shell UK have offered SVS and have now begun laying off all Consultants and Contractors.
SVS = Selective Voluntary Service i.e. volunteering to leave Shell for a severance payout
MOR = Managed Open Resources - this is basically a re-org where everyone in e department has to post for a job in the new organization (of course there are fewer available jobs in the re-org). There are no interviews - just resume review only. Those that do not get placed in a job will be paid a severance and layed off from Shell.
If you are severed via the MOR process rather than the SVS process, it is possible that your severance pay will be less. So if you don't think there is a chance that you will be selected for a job in the MOR, better to take the SVS upfront as at least you are guaranteed 3 weeks per YOS.
What does svs and mor mean?
Okay, then the MOR must be limited to your department, becuase the vast majority of Shell in the US is NOT going through an MOR process in May. It is going through the SVS process only.
I'm based in the US, the May MOR will be happening from May 15th - May 25th and is across RDS
OP, what country are you in because Europe and North America are going through SVS process, but no MOR (yet).
