Any news on when Vantiva will carry out a compensation review. It's nearly half way through the year and looking like a freeze for another year

For most people I know who aren't spreadsheet jockeys the motivation is a payoff. I don't anyone who gets excited coming to work to churning out the same derivate products year after year with no chance of career growth or even a raise.

@5vxf+1sUJUXny there doesn't seem to be any motivation to come up with new products to replace the waning sectors. Today its AI and EVs. Surely a tech company could leverage its core knowledge to develop new products for these new sectors as industry leaders? Innovation no longer a commodity here?

Two failing companies coming together was never going to have a happy ending, or desirable outcome.

It is almost as if two failing businesses see each other as, oh well, we're sh!t and people know we're sh!t so nobody has any expectation of us, and we can go on blaming each other. Isn't that just the CommScope way?

It's all doom and gloom there. The best people leave because what would they be doing remaining and settling for that? You get the hangers on with no good motive for staying other than picking up their monthly salary. I've said it before, when that is what is left in a company, the rot has set in and you're left with employees that don't care anymore, and just hope that the cuts this week are not them.

Guys, what did you expect? The cable box business is like buggy whips and electric typewriters. It is in the process of disappearing.

@4jkb+1sUJUXny tell me about it!! Rather than focus on growing the business, they are obsessed with layoffs, and forever reminding employees that there will be more layoffs!! Wouldn't it be nice to hear that the company has secured new deals, or launching new cutting edge products? Oh no, they appear to delight in reminding folks that the layoffs aren't over!
I guess we shouldn't be surprised, it is after all 2 failing companies coming together to produce a floundering entity!

They just seem obsessed with form filling and bean counting. They make commscope look like an agile startup

Internal Comms is atrocious, after the last layoffs there has been no regrouping, just the threat that it ain't over.... Yet

Typo.. No support functions in certain regions.
Do leadership know- yes.
Do the care -No
Why- bottom line ( more for their generous pay rises or bonuses)

Well if they follow the cs process it will be never ending layoffs.
Every few months ,great colleagues been laid off.
It's all down to cost and no meaningful considerations to the consequences in a department.
E.g. IT department is so under staffed
that now support functions in certain times zones. even better wait 5/6 hours for US region to wake up to work an issue.
Hope noting critical occurs as no staff left to assist a speedy recovery.
