Curious to know if districts that care have any pull over those who could care less about their employees. Looking for outliers.

@5unq+1fkNcENx...
What store do you work in?
i got a 40% raise. i make "speed" vlogs that no one watches but hanz like them lots
Leading and performing all got paid the same. The Merit increases were determined by where you stack up compared to the industry average. I’m a GM and I can verify it was BS. I couldn’t give people leading that deserved them. I was told to change their rating to performing by my DM. She said it came from HR and the Director. Some reps that sucked got over a 4% raise and other top performers got under 3%. If you were a top performing employee you got punished for being rewarded in the past. I asked my DM what do I tell my employees how to get a Leading? I couldn’t get a straight answer. Most new employees got the biggest increase. All my veteran reps (whatever is left of them) all got screwed. We used to have the ability to adjust raise %. They took that away from us so we are at the mercy of a HR rep that doesn’t even know the employees. Or a random computer generated %. The two biggest lows in my career as a GM was trying to convince one team was going to be better and trying to explain to my top performers they didn’t qualify for leading when they got cheated on their pay increase. Verizon’s new strategy is to make the rules up as they go so they don’t have to be accountable for when they take more stuff away. Hans needs the stock prices to increase so when he leaves he can maximize his stock payouts. All new management training is how to sell front line employees on doing more with less for less because they are scared to death of unions.
- <----there it is...a whole 4.25% as top performer in my store. Bottom performer got the same and so did everyone else. It's not even a dollar more an hour, but verizon appreciates us for our hard work through the pandemic. This should cover inflation and keep my family nice and financially secure through the year. What a generous company to reward our bottom performers and top performers the same tiny increase.
im making 35 an hour now as a rep in cali
Since we all get the same raise and can't negotiate it, why not just go union? At least we can negotiate our raise.
I guess I’m the only one who still hasn’t heard anything about my BPI? No communication and no meetings scheduled.
Honestly im not upset with my raise. I'm upset that I was the top sales person and got the same raise as everyone else in the store. What's the incentive for me to be top again this year? Might as well do bare minimum.
0% leading. Apparently there is cap.
Performing 15%, band 6
If you’re crying about inflation, vote better in 2022 and 2024. Stop putting people in power that hate America!
@fdv+1fkNcENx
I need the story behind that 0% and Leading.
FYI: I was also leading and BPI 0%.
Yeah we know how you all swindle grandma into a $30 charger and a $20 screen protector. What are you all going to do when the boomers die off? No one goes into those stores except Geriatric Dementia Patients. Oh wait..the thugs go in to rip the phones off the walls but they ain't paying! ROFL....
Believe it or not retail stores generate the most direct profit on accessory sales. That’s why I always found it odd how TMO and ATT retail stores have very little accessories and don’t focus on selling them .
@qlt+1fkNcENx where do you get the idea Corp Stores are losing money?
LOL looks like you are getting too much blablabla from your managers!!!
Verizon will never lose money, everything inside the store generates money for Verizon, from the accessories you see on the wall to the bpk machine
Leading. 0.00% raise
Corporate retail locations got 4% across the board. Deviations between employees would have apparently opened up a can of worms given the β team concept β.( SM’s response to my concern ). Contribution standards meant zero in percentage of raise. This confirmed that βjust doing enough to get by β is the right approach. Employee who contributed half as much as I did last year was given the same raise percentage. That just doesn’t sit well with me.
Inflation is 9% anything less is comical.
Fin Analyst, 4%
Not enough to cover inflation
Leading, 4.75%
Got a leading and 7%. I wouldn't expect anyone in retail to get much because we are already losing tons of money on stores.
