I worked at Collians, and the people in NC havnt a clue what they are doing. Lots of unnecessary OT, people in positions with nothing to do and mangers allowing employees to do nothing all day. The CEO Hayes will still get his big payday while the workers get nothing. Corporate America like this company is why the middle class will be gone soon.

That is what Pratt did to us in CT. We worked high rate of OT for months even if we had no work. When the fiscal year ended they use OT as one of the excuses to close our shop in Cheshire CT.

Because a few at the top (RTN senior senior bums) came out with loads of loads of millions in their pockets and said "the heck with the other 95% of RTN folks, not my problem".
They've become too reliant on revenue from foreign governments on legacy programs.
They wanted to use some of that juicy GTF money to fund the development of new projects.
Unfortunately for them, 'Rona said "No ma'am, not today!"
If UTC was in debt why did Raytheon agree to the takeover? They were doing fine by themselves and now are dragged into this mess
Makes sense. UTC was 14 billion in debt before the "Friendly Takeover". It only stands to reason that they had poor management, and laking in the leadership department.
If he was laid off and p-ss-d then there are more appropriate places for that type of response. Like Glassdoor or indeed. This site is called the layoff, not the soapbox
