Thread regarding Dril-Quip Inc. layoffs

No cuts, but...

No cuts, but working here is becoming increasingly difficult... It doesn't mean much to me that my job is safe for a while, if in the meantime they put me under so much pressure that makes me want to get out of here. The fact that even those who used to be comfortable here are leaving DQ now speaks volumes about the atmosphere in the company.

Another ex employee again, @5oyh+1dhbEL8V. Go back to your ho-e from where you came from.

The concern here isn’t having to work. It’s peoples health is being put behind getting a job completed. It was bad before, now we have less people it is far worse.

Actually having to work now are we! The purpose of the business is to get jobs out of the door so DT is correct, now get on with it.

Must make a big difference from day filling on overtime and sleeping on night shift if you are now held accountable?

The atmosphere here is dictated by DT. His blatant disregard for people here is very obvious. Only cares about getting the job out the door, this has been proven in the last 2 weeks with his reaction to covid cases at work. Lead from the top they say, we’ve had it if this is the case

It has always been wanting more from the guys for no extra reward. Most workers now are feeling tired of the no reward, too many promises (new overalls, t-shirts for a poor example) and still nothing. They want us all too take on extra for what ?? I’m afraid they will see experienced people leaving very soon if the too heavy management team in DQE don’t sort there act out.
