Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Do we re-struct on T-harness team from Tools

Team is an ultimate version

  1. Shift blame
  2. come up with reason why it cannot be done
  3. keep outsource company to save Fte and vice-versa.

Just revamp team and save some dime

The bad "English" makes me wonder how useful any documentation they left behind could have been!

Hired professional :- 😂😂😂😂😂😂 (still trying to find out how it works)

Reading through the comments, I can imagine how unprofessional the Russians were!

Constant cursing and blaming of others!

Seems like we have some junior low-level developer here, that does not understand that things work a little bit different in a market economy, than in a communist dictatorship like Russia. LOL!

I can confirm that the code the Russian Thinkorswim team left behind was a JOKE!

It was like 20 drunk college students had gotten together the last night before the exam deadline and worked on their final project.

Just that it was not funny. It is easy to see that they had to be replaced with some more professional people. They are probably programming for some company selling toothpicks or toilet paper right now. Where the quality is not as important.

I can add some context!

The Russian Thinkorswim team was also quite unreliable. There was VODKA involved. I say no more!

As you can see from the comments on this forum, the English skills were almost zero, and the documentation of the code unusable.

Pretty unprofessional!

""Replaced for security reasons", fired. Same thing. So this guy should go up and talk to a dictator about his frustrations? Very intelligent you are. "

Undoubtedly much more intelligent than you are, or are you just on the spectrum? Maybe just low IQ? Can you see cause and effect?

Putin invaded Ukraine => Russians become a security threat => The Russian ThinkOrSwim team gets discontinued.

The disgruntled Russian developer should direct his childish anger against his dictator. It is not Walt's fault. And, I mean, whining about this years later. Get a life!

The Russian team did not get fired, they were replaced for security reasons. The disgruntled developer should go and talk to Putin, instead of pestering this forum.

Harness is a tool for deployments. Similar to bamboo. The Infrastructure org at Schwab is terrible and is always causing mayhem. This guy is angry at them for good reasons. I explain why he it seems he is holding a grudge for a long time in the post below.

Maybe one of the many fu-k ups of the tools team happened around the time the war broke out and it blocked him from delivering and thinks it has to do with why he got fired. He has probably been unemployed for a long time or working 2 full time jobs that add up to a fifth of the US minimum wage and is struggling to put food on the table. Maybe this explains the frustration.

There should audit, to check even if they worth keeping.
They were saved in last oct, but not this time.

For some reason some fired random Russian Thinkorswim developer, thinks it's the Tools teams fault.

Why? I have no idea! But obviously enough to hold a grudge for 2 years and going!

Why are the constant attacks on the Tools and the Harness teams allowed on this forum?

Because this nameless forum, an objective is to discus dirty laundry

Personal vendettas should not be tolerated!

I have NOT seen any name , if you feeling personal then you may be involved or pushed some one or many off them from cliff when movement arrived.

Do not do things to others , which you have to carry subconscious guilt .

The code that the Russians left behind, was work of really poor quality. They must, literally, have been drunk on vodka all the time! :-)

When people cannot understand ,
1 ) highly Quality code

  1. they do not know how write a code
  2. they want to hide there incompetence

They come up with we-pon know as

  1. Code Quality .

When asked to define, and stick to it , they blame others rather then fixing there own problem.

Just do following thing

  1. Move FTE employee out or shuffle them
  2. service company people working
    B.1) New people want GC
B.2) Old people want PR using EB1-C (search google)

Just deny or delay so much it becomes worthless for point B
