I’m becoming desperate because I haven’t been able to find a new job for three months. I tried in every way, but the options offered were much worse than what I have. As for acceptable options, it sometimes seems to me that there has never been more nepotism going on. I would love to stay in the insurance industry though.
For now, it seems to me that the job market is not recovering?

The new administration is all about taxing corporations and sending jobs overseas. But at least they tweet nicer.
A lot of companies are going the same ways as Allstate. Outsourcing and automation. There will not be nearly the number of professional jobs again as there was before the pandemic. After months of looking I decided to go back to Allstate even though I know it will just be temporary for 2-3 years max before these roles are in India. Just here for a paycheck doing just enough not to be hassled and not at the level to induce stress. Maybe things will be better in a year or so.
