I hope my old boss finally gets the axe. Bad things can't happen to a more deserving person. He's good at navigating the swamp, though, so he'll probably sl--e through yet again.

February 2 is the day. We just watched a live stream in which they talked about operational efficiency, reducing red tape, your old team and your new team, and a lot of other code words for for" we're going to be firing a bunch of people"

Something seems to be bubbling in Mulesoft. Maybe elsewhere. Just saw someone saying their role was ended due to “team consolidation”
Nothing yet, but I can see cause for concern, me included, but that applies to almost everyone working here in some manner. For the life of me, I do not understand why so much excellent talent has been pushed out and replaced by incompetence. It is mind boggling. Mid management is extremely weak and leadership thinks they can drive performance with fear. Thats an everyday occurrence here.
In the past people were worried about losing their jobs, now quite a few people no longer care due to the bizarre behavior of leadership and the constant badgering. It loses its effect over time and indicates, at least to me, they do not know how to manage. Thats a huge shift. More people are leaving than I have ever seen in my 12+ years here.
