At least 25% more now after another quarter of loss. Just keep on making the employees compete against each other because that is going drive sales

Has the 25% job cut demand met or now it’s more than 25%?

I've never seen a group of people more clueless about the place they work than on this site. It boggles the mind.

The way things are moving, this seems to be possibility. The embarassment for a CEO and some of his executives have sold their shares.

I wonder what message they are assuming is being sent to the customers and employees. Moreover these spineless people never step up and share the bad news in an open forum to their employees, but share it at platforms like SEC filings or other places where they only require to do so to fulfill legal obligations.

Trust me, Juniper is not an employee friendly company. As long as it is run by greedy cowards, anybody who claims so, is a part of the hypocrisy.

Does HPE rent or own their San Jose property?

I’m guessing HPE will close its San Jose office for the Juniper office in Sunnyvale

I sold MIST at Dell briefly and its nothing special which is why after hitting the wall on wireless they reinvented themselves as a Cloud AI company, they had no real wireless technology other than the MIST operation system that was unique..... and they were in a very glutted market.... If HP bought Juniper for MIST they could have done that six years ago for nothing.

What is the market share of Mist in wireless networking ? Cisco and Aruba are way ahead in WiFi market share.

Does anyone have an answer ?.

Revenue of Juniper is expected to decline by 30%..and that's why it was sold quickly.HPE will realize it's mistake later just like they did for Autonomy..poor HPE investors

Aside from layoffs, they also need to be careful about attrition. Distractions and attrition are big risks at this point. They need to execute perfectly.

The deal is not complete so until that happens the should be no significant layoffs. RR and CK risk missing revenue targets otherwise. Then the $14B deal may only be worth $7B. If the deal then collapses, well that will be the end of Juniper.

Employees are what make a company great, not just the CEO's and middle management. I choke when I see a lineup of management, grinning like possums over "their" accomplishments while the workers are in the audience clapping like mad. And who ever honors the customers who buy their products? Without workers and buyers you have nothing. You may create a wonderful product, but it dies on the vine without the "engines" of the company and faithful consumers.

Less said about the incompetent IT leadership, the better. Recommend reading the below post to see what kind of folks you are dealing with.

With the abundance of talent now in the market due to layoffs at other companies, is the CIO still hiring the minions from Tibco & Good Harbor Group? Some things never change. Kickbacks, eh?

RR admitted that the conversation to sell out JNPR started well over a year ago. So, in Oct 2023 we were are forced into arbitration. I guess it was preemptive first move to prevent the possible lawsuits from employees. It may not be criminal, but it sure has a morally bankrupt sense about it

Yep huge cuts coming, and the fact we are in Vegas slapping each other on the back for such a good job, is both laughable and slightly sick. Teams that won EMEA awards in channel did such a great job they had to cull people. Typical Juniper

When a company is acquired the acquiring company has a specific headcount (with associated cost) that is modeled during the due diligence process. There will be cuts, there is not possible way HPE can swallow the headcount currently at Juniper. It is important to realize this is a natural action and no matter what your Juniper managers are saying they have no control or even knowledge of the higher discussions. If you are at Juniper I would recommend getting your resume ready, start making connections now and be prepared that you are on the list of layoffs as the acquisition gets closer to being completed. Also remember Juniper has to preform during this period of government approval and due diligence, so they will offer some pretty great incentives to their employees for the next few months.

The IT leadership being worthless is real. I got cut in last October to make way for the CIO's minions. The clueless part is right on the money.

We hope this message finds its way to HPE/Juniper exec, because they seriously need to look into the Juniper IT exec team. A good clean house is a must. Every single one of them is clueless and incapable. The majority of the ITLT were hand-picked by the CIO and her VP from prior organizations they led. A similar skin tone is required for admittance into their tiny circle.

Surprise!!! Not.. the Exec Leadership and their minions at the VP levels will be taken care of well, the rank and file will most likely not get the big payouts they gave before it will be maybe three weeks and see ya!
