By February 2021 Everlast, Joe Boxer, and Cannon will be no more at Sears & Kmart stores. Everlast items are 70% with Buy One Get One pair of shoes for $1. Joe Boxer is 70% all apparel and 50% off Women's Canvas Shoes. Finally, Cannon is 50% off the entire stock that includes sheets & blankets. Seems that the end for Sears & Kmart keeps getting closer every day. At this rate, we will most likely see another closing list by next week. I would estimate that we should be getting the list by Tuesday or Thursday of this week. Another reason that I make this prediction is that Transformco just sold off five properties and looks like they're looking to sell off more so that they can walk away with profits. The end for Sears & Kmart can't come soon enough. Screw you Edward Scott Lampert for putting profits over people, never visiting Sears or Kmart stores, milking on the real estate by keeping the stores opened and selling off the properties and store brand, and outpacing workers from there jobs where they built friendships with other workers. I wonder how the man sleeps with himself at night.

Yes, you are right about the NH, ND, and MN Kmarts. I stand corrected, those were non-Seritage and they closed in 2020.
I admit I was wrong, but those stores were still a few rounds ago, right? I think (correct me if I'm wrong again), that the latest round's Kmarts were all Seritage. So we haven't had any non-Seritage Kmarts in quite awhile. The 3 you mentioned below, were in 2020, but quite earlier.
So I'm not sure if he even wants to close any MORE non-Seritage Kmarts, but we'll find out soon I guess.
West Lebanon NH, Minot ND, and Minneapolis MN were non-Seritage Kmarts that closed in 2020.
Can I still buy Kathy Ireland clothing line???
In all seriousness, I don't think Silver Spring (or any other Kmart) will close soon. Remember, the last round, at least on the Kmart side, was all Seritage stores (Big Bear Lake, plus 2 Kmarts in PR). There ARE no more Seritage stores left to close. The latest list from 2020, did NOT have any non-Seritage Kmarts on it. Being that all remaining Kmarts are NON-SERITAGE, I dont see them as closing at least yet. I think it has been at least 1 Year (give or take), since any non-Seritage Kmarts closed. Someone, please fact Check me on that, but off the top of my head, the only Kmarts that closed in about 1 Year were Big Bear Lake, Edge Water, Columbia, Walnutport, a few PR locations, etc. (ALL SERITAGE).
The last non-Seritage Kmart closings were several rounds ago, including Las Vegas, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and some randomly located others, but that was (I think) about 1 Year ago. Any subsequent Kmart closings have been Seritage only (of which none further remain).
LOL, no, I never get hyped up over this stuff. I Knew it was false when I first saw it so I couldn't wait to spread that egg on OP's face JUST LIKE I PROMISED I WOULD, 1 WEEK AGO, IN THIS POST: @1ldh+18XpdpDt . I point out false journalism and fake news.
Nope, this is a news board where we report retail news backed up by links. I just enjoy spreading digital eggs on faces when posts that I Know are false, are proven false. I never expected OP's post to be true. I was 100% right so I wanted to make sure they got a thick slice of "I Told you so". OP lost, I Won, is what happened. Enjoy those eggs! LMAO. Moral of the story, don't make promises you can't keep or I will ALWAYS call you out on it and expose you for fake news. Good job, me (patting myself on the back).
@5ssy This is a rumor board where posts end up being true or false. You got hyped up and wasted your time, for nothing. Sorry.
I'm the queen of the Internet.
OP's posts like these remind me of a friend I worked with who kept promising he was going to hit Lotto Jackpot. Then when I asked what happened, he would Say "Oh well, I'll hit Next Week". This all got so old, so quickly, I finally Said "dude, when you get It, let me Know. I'm tired of hearing the same story that goes nowhere".
Same here: "Chicken little, Sky is falling, British are coming, etc., etc.". Then, um, nothing. Sure. Cool story. When you have proof, post it. Else, be quiet until you do. Links or it didn't happen.
Has nothing to do with anyone being hugged or not. It's simply calling out false journalism and fake news. Poster below was right. He promised he would call out the fake news and he did. Kudos to him. It's not a coincidence that posts with evidence and facts get the highest amounts of views, typically. Clickbait and false news should be called out an I'm glad someone is doing this.
This obsession with closing lists and assumption that everyone else is also mental and following them just as closely is surely a sign that their mother didn't hug them enough as a kid.
Not hyped up in the slightest. I Knew OP's information was wrong, and I promised I would call him out on it. I followed through with that promise. I Knew it wouldn't come true, and I was right. So I had to make sure he wore that digital egg.
And to the other poster below, all closing stores are listed on the SB360 page. There are only 12 on there, and those are the 12 we already heard of in 2020. So there was nothing new THIS WEEK. OP earned that egg on his face and I personally delivered it to him. Like I promised I would.\
Ba-boom! See ya, wouldnt wanna be ya! Bam.
@5hok Those are all public internet sites you referenced. There are private networks where the list may have been posted first.
@4ewp You got all hyped up over a rumor? HAAA-HAH!
hammer's reading comprehension skills aren't even grade school level
Wow, stop contorting yourself to try to rescue the OP's failure.
When there's a list out, it is commonly shared on this, and other news sites, as well as Reddit. There is nothing new on Reddit or anywhere else on google. The closing stores are all listed on the following page and there is NOTHING new on it:
https://www.sb360.com/select-projects/events/sears/
@5utp OP never said who would be getting the list. So it is possible the list came out, it just is not posted here. Maybe the crew over on Reddit know something since they discuss only closing links. This is just a rumor board.
@5ilv+18XpdpDt Nope, there's a difference. I wrote that the list won't come out until AT LEAST after February. It might be 2 Years after February. I didn't predict anything other than it LIKELY won't come out until after February. Maybe 2 Days after, maybe 2 Years after. This clown, claimed the list would be out by THIS THURSDAY. It didn't happen.
@4ewp But you just teased us by saying the next list will likely come after February. If that does not happen like you said, will you throw the digital egg onto your own face?
hammer, aren't you the one too poor to buy his wife a cell phone? maybe you couldn't afford kmart which is why you're so eager to see them close?
My store manager said that more brands will be eliminated now that loss prevention is in charge of purchasing inventory.
I read the post, where is the claim/promise made? All I see is a guestimate. The confrontational writing is unnecessary.
Juicy bam-bams? That is a completely different website than the purpose of this website.
Wow! Wooooooow! You don't Say? They are discontinuing selling some clothes that nobody buys, at a store nobody shops at, anyway? This is riveting, fascinating news! This is serious, front page, New York Times-type stuff, right there, sailor. Excuse me while I pick myself up off the ground, because I fainted from the enormity of this breaking news! FOX, CNN, etc., need to be running this story nonstop!
Anybody buying clothes at a Kmart has serious problems in life anyway. Even when Kmart was still a thing, 20 Years ago, I would never buy clothes there because I have some self-respect, and don't live in a trailer park.
So, anyway, you claimed a list would be out Tues., Or Thurs.. TODAY is Tues.. We'll see what you got by Thurs., or else post will be ridiculed as it deserves. Be ready. -Egg guy
Why are these three clothing lines being discontinued at Sears and Kmart? Why do they all need to be out by April? Details, please!
The post about everlast, Joe boxer and canon is correct however not all will be out by February. The sell through goes through April depending on the item.
Digital egg on face. How embarrassing.
Profits first, what profits?
Maybe it's just at the silver spring location, that is only of a few locations being shopped by JLL perhaps just it is closing down?
So no Easter candy at Kmarts this year , if the company is broke, pre-bankrupt and done for ?
Yawn. Who cares what they sell in some id–tic, obsolete store? Hardly anybody shops there anyway. When it's closing, let us Know so we can adjust our counts. As for Ed, he SHOULD put Profits first, because it's his business not CHARITY. Nobody cares if workers built friendships at work. Socialize on your own Time.
So, "BOTTOM LINE" TIME: You are predicting a closing list on Tues. Or Thurs.. If it doesn't happen, I will be calling you out on it with the old "egg on face" routine. Be ready.
And then it went bankrupt again, and he bought it again
Kmart was bankrupt in 2003 when ESL bought it. Remember?
@hvl+18XpdpDt Self liquidation they seem to be downsizing apparel to get ready for liquidation at the next round of Sears stores.
Is this a January sale, self liquidation in progress or store closing liquidation pre sale?
Eddie doesn't own the Everlast brand it's owned by Fraser's Group a UK based company which owns a large sports chain called Sports Direct
TransformCo can't afford to pay vendors from Bangladesh, the lowest cost manufacturer in the world, so even they won't do business with Eddie anymore. Business as usual for Eddie Lampert. It's amazing he didn't sue them. This is the man who's suing Hometowns and keeps money from cancer patients at St. Judes.
Eddie owns the Everlast Brand.
So much predicting. Guess we'll see if your bold guesses are correct as the week ahead unfolds.
With the exception of those Sears and Kmart stores still currently in liquidation, there are no more open stores to be sold off.
