Tanzu marketing and sales folks chopped off a bit. You know - every quarter another 10 or so until we reach zero. Has nothing to do with meeting revenue targets, or exceeding them. One MUST make sacrifices to our lord and master HT.

It's absolutely brutal to make people's departure dates (Dec 13) mere days before the official date you must be employed to receive your annual bonus and Dec equity vesting (Dec 15). They worked all year and earned that yearly bonus - very harsh and shameful of the company. Like spitting on you while they kick you out.

Yep, before last RSU vest of the year and bonus. I'm hearing 2,500 across the company.
Turns out the 'before Oct 15' date was correct - folks started receiving pink slips Tues Oct 13 w last day of service as Dec 13. It's known because those cut are sending cold-call emails or IMs to various managers asking if there are any open hire spots in their business unit for them and revealing these date details. For once not just rumor-posting.
