I have never seen an IT organization which has so many VPs, directors and senior directors and less worker bees. Can Centene IT have max 5-6 layers of management instead of 10 or more and have more worker bees? That will lead to more efficiency, productivity and higher stock price.

Best suggestions is to get a better CEO, paying millions for someone that doesn't know how to run the business is wasted money, they could also consolidate at the top, why they need a president like Fasola if there is a medicare president and a medicaid president , so much waste there, they have all those layers because Drew and Sarah are just lazy and all they want to do is talk and live the rich life, and keep jobs for people like Rich Fisher who made Centene lose millions and still there,if I was a huge investor I would have both of them out, they don't do work. Centene made only 45 mill last quarter, you get rid off of couple of those characters and consolidate another one and double the earnings and the stock price increase , you do better with Chatgpt that having London there, all she does is talk a bunch of buzzwords while the operation is in crisis.
You talking about saving, first they need to get rid off Sarah London, they over paying for someone that has even ran a health plan, they could also combine the ken fasola role into one of president/ COO and get rid off the COO and the the president , ken fasola is too lazy and too low energy to do both, he even got a raise while all he does is flying the plane, that s where all the big savings are, all that garbage of chief communication off licer, chief impact officer , chief people officer could go away and let some of the currents VP do it, that is just overhead that add nothing of value to the company or members, the big savings are there
Blah blah blah. Tell me you’re not a leader, without telling me you’re not a leader. #SimpAlert
Executives but not leaders, they are actually more like treacherous predators, what disgrace for Centene the current decision makers.
I get that someone here hates our executive leaders and wants to keep posting about it,
but it’s kind of annoying.
They don’t care about you and nothing you say or do here or really anywhere else is going to change that.
If you don’t like them, leave. Otherwise worry about what you can control.
Sarah, Drew and some other legal thieves in this organization have made a huge favor to the healthcare industry by " voluntarily retiring" some executives, most of them have landed other better jobs and are making a difference, Centene has kept the worse, the dinosaurs, the all talk and no action, the mean, the bullies, the two faces one. It is kinda bad rep to say I work for Centene this days. The company is heading in the wrong direction, by the time the board decides to replace Drew and his combo might be too late , institutional investors should be concerned , employment and a career is not a thing here anymore. It is rapacity never seen, which will end up miserably for Centene.
Here you have has some of the worst leadership in the industry, Drew, Sarah, Alice Chen, Fasola, just talking heads that pretend they work work while all they have done is amassed millions and thrown people under the bus. It is very messy , mismanaged and reckless, nothing gets traction, bad for employees, investors only good for them and some of their old friends while it last, not really sustainable for much longer unless the board acts soon
You can always tell the truly qualified leaders from those who got where they are through their looks or by cozying up with higher titles.
The latter like to have a lot of 1:1 time with people with higher titles. They like to do a lot of the talking in meetings so they can showboat.
I can't speak to other parts of IT, and I may loathe the amount of work she pushes in return for minimal pay/promotion (and I hate being in this org), but our VP is excellent in terms of what she actually delivers for the company. The majority of our Directors+ are well-worth what they're being paid.
I don't know enough about the newly created layer between the VPs and the C-suite, comprised of all former Humana people, to say what it does/doesn't deliver relative to comp.
I agree that London and Drew are just two imposters, they have gotten rid off great people and they still have Rich Fisher there paying him ball load of money despite sc--wing medicare, the place is so badly run. It is bad decision after bad decision.
IMO, to save dollars and boost the stock price, VPs, Senior directors and Directors who are having less than 10 FTEs should be replaced with managers and senior managers
I think a much better suggestion let's get rid off of those 2 and the stock price will go through the roof, there is not a good vision or plan here, CNC is acting like a bankrupted company selling it's assets and going backwards on everything operationally.
Centene is rotten organization with mediocre " leadership ". A sinking ship that is being disbanded and ripped apart.
I was under the impression that Centene was trying to outsource a lot of their IT teams. I hope I’m wrong though
They need to get rid of both, Sarah and Drew,, incapable fraudsters that have broken the company in pieces, destroy people careers, and have gotten rich saying lies after lies, the place will never get ahead with all the bullsh-t they have done.
