Other than Guam and USVI Kmarts. Will any stateside full line sears or kmarts survive all these closings? Or will any sears auto centers live on? Or will the remnants of the company just be the 5 island Kmarts, sears.com, and a few sears hometown franchises.

Exactly! And even if I'm being very conservative and estimate that about 50 of those 300 Hometowns survive, well that is still not unsignificant (double negative), and perhaps might remain as a predominately rural chain in uderserved markets, like Montana, Wyoming, etc..
As for @4kcf+19IYiKyi, you actually CAN do that. Blockbuster video currently operates 1 store. There are regional supermarkets with 4 or 5 locations. Heck, there is a supermarket chain in Bismarck ND, called Dan's supermarkets, that is exactly like that.
The could have a regional HQ in either Guam or USVI (or maybe both) and just run the operations locally, instead of from Illinois, or wherever they are run from now. It could be a small, strictly regional chain.
An excellent example is Shirokiya, here in Hawaii. They have 1 location only, and are quite successful . It can be done:

300+ Hometowns is a bit more than 5.
They’re all closing. You can’t keep the backside infrastructure, distribution system going for 5 stores.
The Guam Kmart store is so magical, that whatever Money you have in your pocket doubles when you walk in. If you walk in with $100, your wallet will then contain $200. If you walk in with $500, you will have $1000, etc.. So anyone who wants to double their Money, just walk into that store. It's like magic.
The emperor of Japan, as well as many high-rolling investors from all of East Asia shop there. You can find movie Stars, oil tycoons, sheiks, princes, princesses, kings, queens, prime ministers, presidents, vice presidents, CEO's, billionaires, top athletes from all the biggest sports, all the Forbes 500, and generally anybody who is Rich & famous there.
The emperor of Japan will be handing out free sushi This Week, along with tickets to a sumo wrestling match, so please, everyone, go to this amazing store to double your Money, meet the Japanese emperor, enjoy some sushi, and score some free tickets to a sumo match.
They have Billion Dollar fancy jets that people use to fly to Guam Kmart, in which they only serve $100,000 bottles of Wine, & Million Dollar kobe steaks. They have excursions where people can pay $1 Billion per seat to fly on a private, exclusive charter to Gaum Kmart to fulfill all their toothpaste needs. Only the best quality stuff at Guam Kmart. And only the upper crust of society shop there.
Not to mention, the locals like it too.
Residents of Guam have very little choice.
@2qrt+19IYiKyi Interesting, you would think a KMart that busy would have a shrinkage problem. Could that be because the Guam store is actually a hoax? I think it is. Imagine, in 2020, a KMart store that is actually profitable and where people want to shop. There is no such store. It's a hoax created by Eddie Lampert himself. He rightly assumed that because its Guam, no one would actually go there and find out the store doesn't exist. #GuamKMartHoax
Loss prevention has flown me to Hawaii and Puerto Rico for investigations, but I haven't heard of any of my coworkers ever going to guam.
LOL, this dude is trolling AF, but he has me ROFL. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Oil Sheiks. Emperors and kings. Oprah and John Travolta buying cars and planes for all! Keep it going dude! This is hilarious!
Sears Home Services might survive or be sold off as well. Despite lousy customer service it's really the only part of the business that's profitable.
We were all victims of a corporate raider
I am the OP, and no, I am not the “Guam guy”. Sorry for any confusion. I was simply curious if any stateside full line stores might survive, and I guess the answer is no. I only mentioned Guam, because I keep reading everyone saying how great and profitable that store is, so I just assumed it’ll survive the “end” of Sears/Kmart. And no I am not a troll. I wouldn’t do that to you all, as I find some of the discussions here quite interesting.
no its "posts" because there are multiple posts. But anyway, nice try, everyone knows you are the OP.
" I have Time" Of course you do because you don't work.
" All he does is posts garbage "
Since "he" is singular, it would be all he does is "post" garbage, not all he does is "posts" garbage.
But OP is right. The USVI/Guam stores will survive. A famous Talk show host from Chicago recently went there and bought cars for all the employees.
Also the movie Star from Grease, & Sat. Night Fever, who holds a pilots license, flew down to the Guam store, and bought Airplanes for every employee there. Not just any plane but each one got a 747. And he bought toy planes for all the employee's children too.
Since they need room for all those planes, they are building a new island adjacent to house all those planes. Said actor, when he returns to buy hair gel at the Guam Kmart, is providing free flying lessons to all those employees of that store so they can fly their new free planes.
In addition, an oil sheik is flying in on Tues., to give every employee a free pony, and free fuel for life, to keep those planes flying! All the Wealthy, famous elite shop there. That store will eventually Profit $1 Trillion per Second. There are 86,400 Seconds in 1 Day, so that store will turn Profit of $86,400 TRILLION DOLLARS per Day. Want to keep going? I have Time. Feed me some more, ya.
Not to mention the locals like it too.
all the stores will close or possibibly a couple sold off to another retailer.
*clearing, not clearly (otherwise I'll get a long lecture from the grammar nazi)
The its "too big to fail" if its on an island guy is back. You know the clown who think there's a multi-billion dollar KMart store. Can the moderator just delete this thread? His other thread about the Guam KMart was just closed down and now he opens this one. All he does is posts garbage on here and then upvotes it multiple times by repeatedly clearly his browser cache. Please just delete this nonsense.
You are correct in your estimation. What will survive will be the 5 Kmarts in Guam/USVI, a few independently owned Sears Hometowns (who for whatever reason would not agree to close), and of course Sears.com (primarily for "marketplace" items).
Unless they are sold to another company, all of these stores will close.
