Any rumors on acquisitions? It would be weird to see Dell acquired after the uge EMC acquisition on 6 years ago.

Michael Dell squandered the EMC acquisition opportunity. His greed prevented it from being the catalyst the company needed. He sold off the most lucrative components and got wrapped up in an $8 billion investment fraud scheme. Dell settled for 1 billion. Michael left all the way to the bank as he destroyed countless lives. Greed is not good!
No, this is Meta.

@4sqr+1mV5f88b Sadly so. In the past year or so, the only correct analysis/predictions were about the Feb 2023 layoffs (which was discussed in Dec 2022) and the RTO. Nothing else.

The rumors I've heard are the opposite. Large parts of Dell to be sold off to another company. This is for MD to heartily line his pockets before retiring.
Probably buy an AI company and then “Dell-ize” it and sell it off years later at a loss.
Yes, I have heard that rumor outside this forum.
Chuck hasn't done a day's work in his life. A clown and no wonder Dell is in a mess. Who really would want to buy such a dreadful cultural mess and junk products
Who would want this piece of sh*t
@atp+1mV5f88b : where people say strage stuff here - you likley are HPQ/HPE or IBM employee
Actually all you said is !truth ... for these that C .
Alphabet/Google would never buy Dell. I want some of what you’re smoking.
I can imagine someone like Samsung buying the ISG unit.
CSG will be gone in 10-20 years. Same place that BlackBerry went too. If they were smart they’d pawn it off on HPQ while it still has some value.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dell sells off the ISG business. Outside of HCI Dell executive leadership or legacy sales teams really ever seemed to understand how the business works or how to support it. Lack of R&D into DPS and slower than expected PowerStore R&D seems like a signal along with massive sales teams cuts in that space.
Seems obvious Chuck is being groomed to be the next CEO. Company will be parsed out for sale and what is left gets written off. Mike will retire to spend time with his family. Jeff will partner with Ye and expand his teeshirt biz to sneakers and dog blankets. And another page turns.
