So has anyone heard from the union about the last day of the contract. I’m hearing that the company is coming out of bk under new ownership and they don’t want the union because of the high labor cost.

Sounds as if we should be supporting Cletus. Even if you disagree with the approach its better to have someone in our corner.

@3bqv+19s7lWJo Unity is a company the our fearless CEO (he wasnt a CEO at that point but was a board member) started as a shell company to hide assets for a bankruptcy he and Elliot MGT orchestrated. The CEO of Unity and the CFO of WS are brothers and in bed with the CEO of WS. The idea is to follow what CLINK did and split the company into a copper company, fiber company, and a software company. They will merger Frontier ILEC and WS ILEC all while letting the copper side die on the vine or sell for whatever they can get for it...WS is closing over 600 sites in the coming months. This is when the cuts will be deep for both our companies
Elliot management owns both us and windstream. Reading through their layoffs page it looks like they are having a hard time selling off their CLEC business because it dead. Elliot is going to merge their ILEC assets with us, problem is a 3rd part company owns their OSP. Windstream leases their own lines back from a company called UNITI. One company owns the network and the other owns the services, no wonder their bankrupt.
Oh, oh..will come out of bankruptcy this year? Maybe, then a 2nd bankruptcy.

I have not heard a specific date but there will be no union labor in the future for certain. Cletus will of course tell you that this is the position the union wants to be in and that they won the negotiation and went home with the prom queen, but we also know Cletus has to pay his child support and lease payments on the Cadi and union president to stuff full of the bs he spews, so whats it to him to lie to the due payers faces and put on a smile like everything isnt about to be pulled out from underneath them? Its beyond time to open your eyes if you are still an employee of Frontier, the ship has sailed and the life vests are gone, you are swimming with sharks.
