The reason they get paid that much and are also given free shares is that the company hasn’t got many choices left.
It’s the best, bad decision possible in the current situation because it’s really the only decision other than to go private, as so many other small technology and software businesses have done already.
Going private would probably mean that there would be a RIF on a fairly large scale so be careful what you wish for when you suggest changes like this because the change you get may not be the one you want.

The Executive Compensation Committee should step up and withdraw all stock awards or freeze the ability of the ELT and the Board of Directors to cash out for the next 12 - 24 months until they hit a minimum of a 50% growth in new revenue.
That would be a good performance metric to meet.
See how quick they would disappear.

It's a joke and the board sits by and lets it happen since they are getting paid well to oversee this train wreck. There is really no corporate governance for executive compensation. When under performing execs like ET, RP, and DH walk away with millions when they leave you have to scratch your head.
And the ELT will continue to cash out their millions in stock.
Watch it happen. HA started it a couple of days ago.
