Much Xerox equipment is made by HP in the former Samsung operation in Korea. Why bother to buy the dying Xerox?
not sure I'd characterize Toni Sacconaghi as a "small fry analyst" - his analysis is spot on, however M&A should consider more than just a financial view. XRX culture has been (negatively) impacted for some time and the disruption from putting these two together would be significant to HPI

Off the record speaking here, but we are not going to buy you all LOL. There’s nothing Xerox has that we need. Just because one small fry analyst says we should acquire Xerox, doesn’t mean we should.
What we would gain except taking care of your customer service and supporting your products that would die upon company acquisition? If you all aren’t doing good now, how would you all do better if we acquire you?
