Curious if anyone else already has a new job lined up and is just waiting for the holidays to be over and the new year to arrive so you can collect your 2022 vacation pay and jump ship. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an increase in departures for this (and other) reasons early next year.

@4pcc+1dTXaXj8 can't wait for the clown show next year. It will be fun
Are Shell and Chevron hiring technicians? YL and the HR fools have run Clinton down the drain. I find it funny that they are surprised by the high attrition rate. This company wants to contract out every job. The trades are all but gone. The Dan O's and all his lap dogs are lining their pockets. Wake up you VP's on site.
Everyone leaving needs to wait until april 1 to help out your peers who are stuck in the sh-t system
I guarantee in January there will be a bunch. Don’t give notice until January though or you risk being walked out immediately and not getting to cash out your 2022 vacation.
@1lak+1dTXaXj8 - people have been speculating about the percentage increase of the overall salary budget. The actual increases to individual people will not be released until first week of December. I attended the HR training this week and heard it first hand.
@1lak+1dTXaXj8 Salary treatment was already communicated to most supervisors. Not to mention the better ones heard about it weeks ago unofficially if they or their manager has contacts in the right places.
It's good time and opportunity for other companies to poach already trained, talented and experienced technical folks if they want to strategically grow in the near future. Lot of technical career folks are fed up and frustrated with the direction of the company with heavy management focus and less technical focus, it's another GE waiting to happen. It's an investment for some competitors if they think long term, that may help them to grow.
Company is a joke and just a manager RSU pyramid scheme at this point. Plan is to start looking over holidays
@ryy+1dTXaXj8 Please don’t leave. We need you. Need you to be the bottom again.
@zcw+1dTXaXj8 - BS. Even Supervisors don’t get the raise information until the first week in December. We all hate the company already for the true bad things it has done. No need to make sh-t up.
@1jdq D-mb.
Anyone who doesn’t like working at Exxon won’t like working at any other operating company. Same industry, same people, same problems. If you want something better for your life get out of O&G.
I just passed my PIP and am waiting till Feb 1st to resign. Starting with Chevron in March.
Starting at Shell April 1. Higher position and more money
I’m on a relocation timer, but as soon as that’s up I’m gone
My supervisor told me my salary treatment for this year, I logged off 10 mins later and started editing my resume. Will use all my vacation in Jan/feb and have a new job in March hopefully.
Planning on resigning in January. I'm NI so nothing to lose.
I leave on my own terms. It would not be because I want to stick it to the company.
What happened to the mentality, I’m the best and I can only work for the best, aka EM? No one else deserves my talent.
+1
Working on it.
Nailed it!
Yes.
