The problem is they do discriminate against older people, but in order to get a severance package you have to sign a waiver that you will not sue the company and I don’t blame people for refusing to fight back if it’s going to jeopardize a good severance package.

It’s funny, but a lot of people who are older and want to be laid off because they are of retirement age won’t be let go (TR will wait them out) by others who are in their early 60s and have a few more years to go before social security are the ones who get axed.
TAP training did lose a few people but I don’t know many details. We also lost the US based SSCs, and a few Onboarding people. A senior director was cut and a lot of the groundwork she laid is being morphed into a new director role. I’m just tired of the outsourced people doing a bad job if they’re replacing US based people.
@4nyf+1pTr7zS5. If you are going to fight then you should write out notes about the situation. Your circumstances, the circumstances of others who were affected, and details of the work environment.
What do you mean exactly by document everything in relation to fighting back? Do you mean learn as much as you can/take away what you've created yourself?
Remember to document everything on your way out. So many of the layoffs are motivated by the desire to eliminate older workers, but you can fight

I heard that that a significant portion of the FindLaw sales team was let go as well.
Not sure about the TAP training department, but Corporates SMB got hit. About 40 people were told their positions were eliminated and have until 12/29 to secure a new role.
