If you work at the DC in Houston in the warehouse start getting the resume ready and applying. They are going to be outsourcing the warehouse work to a temp agency. Apparently weatherford is getting ready to have everything outsourced. Logistics and all.

The DC let someone go today in logistics and I heard the guy in charge of logistics is now the global VP of logistics. They should fire is azzz. He treats people like pooop.

Weatherford tried to outsource all logistics and packing to a 4PL several years ago. Like everything Weatherford - that was a failed initiative and was scrapped.
This initiative will fail too. It’s the One Weatherford motto. Failure - layoffs - stupid strategy - kiss a-s leadership - horrible middle management — the One Weatherford way of Life
This is after their so called “Transformation” of DCW in Houston last year. Heard a few non-deserving people got promoted because of that “ “ .
I’ve been to the DCW and honestly, such a poorly run DC by the company. When I worked at Schlumberger and Baker previously, I saw how an efficient DC ran and it was nothing like this.
