Well at least tell people now so they are prepared for when it actually happens. Maybe they think this will weed out some folks and some will leave on their own.

I understand the sentiment of people wanting to know now, but really? Whatever severance you are getting is based on your tenure.....so lets say you would get 4 weeks of pay.....you would rather get laid off NOW and get your 4 weeks of severance? Then you are making $0 between now and the rest of the year.

I'd personally rather them wait as along as possible......let us save up over the next couple of months and then get the 4 weeks then.

Anyone not preparing for losing their job (by cutting down on spending/increasing saving) now is not thinking clearly.

I dont see how why would get rid of Data Quality teams as those are driven by the Consent Order

Why wouldn't you tell people now? Of course I wish no one was getting laid off. Since it is going to happen, layoff now so people are not blindsided in Nov before the holidays. It's a cr-ppy way to handle things.

Well I would say CTI is going to be slashed. If you noticed the mail from Mike it suggested the CTI / ICG tech split is ending. There is a lot of overlap so I would expect cuts. ICG-Tech will come out on top.
