I took 60 days off this summer; came back in August and was told I’d need to work now that I was back. How dare they tell me I have to work at work! I just put in for another 90 days off; I don’t need this garbage.

Sorry - Post ID: @4lub+1pepj2tB & Post ID: @4rxt+1pepj2tB - but it appears as though your peers must be doing something right?
After all, manager(s) had to have oversight/signed off on the activity.

May just be a simple matter of your peers Actually working harder than you (and when you work hard, you get to play hard--eh?!)

But once again, you're sidestepping the real solution to the problems you continue to whine about (you should consider going into politics if this 2u thingy doesn't pan out--and it ain't panning' out, you know!)

Get rid of the Limited UPTO and go back to. And stop worrying about what someone else is doing - tears supposed to be management's work!

Remember : Hate the game, not the playa!

It’s disgusting how much pto my team uses. By my count I’m at 4 days, my two team members 34 and 49 days. Thanks for all your help while I clean up your mess

Employees abuse pto and it puts a strain on other employees.

Sorry but my 2 team members have taken 40 plus days off, endless fmla leave each week that they are vocal about. Not forgetting the appointments every week, I mean I schedule my appointments around work. I’m truly at a loss at how soft folks are

Post ID: @4vlg+1pepj2tB - then just do away with UPTO so that 2u can get back to "performing" once again!
Genious!

Post ID: @4btn+1pepj2tB - it's the original error of a flawed design/system ( mixed in with a solid dose of inconsistency in management and consistent oversight - not the "gotcha oversight" style that U tend to use on employees- that provides the environment for any level of 'out of bounds' activities that may occur.

Were we simply utilizing the standard "x " amount of weeks applied when new, to the co, and additional time with tenure, there'd be little to no room for flaws in the system.

It's almost as if leadership enjoys the added drama resulting from the Limited UPTO design?!

When UPTO abuse is tied to underperforming? Huh? But we have unlimited pto, yes sir/ma’am and you have a job to full-fill- take the time you need but don’t abuse it.

Someone else said it. Soft a-s people. Get an inch and expect a mile. Far too many people have never worked elsewhere, where you get 10 (sick or vacation days/year).

Post ID: @3qqc+1pepj2tB It's people like you that ruin it for all the others that try to be honest and not take advantage!

I'm pass my 20 and haven't had any issues approval. In fact, I've never had a problem with using the benefit. It was one of the key things that attracted me to the company.

Here, maybe the wise 'Miriam Webster' can clarify the matter for once and for all?!
Unlimited (synonyms) =
Bottomless
Endless
Horizonless
Immeasurable
Fathomless
Illimitable
Immeasurable
Infinite
Measureless
Unfathomable

Therefore the issues, U leaderless leadership, Can Not be the fault of Any single employee who is/had approached UNLIMITED PTO within any one -or combinations within-of the definition of the term "Unlimited PTO"(and may I suggest you pull up the very flowery documents that Your h.r. department sent at the time to define this change in PTO when it was first reconstructed into UPTO?)

The problem, as Always - where it comes to your clown posse of leaders, is that you bait and switch, double talk--- you Lie!!!!

Indefinite
Limitless
Unbounded
Boundless.....................

Here's a solution....why not go back to simpler times, where you had a standard "x" amount of vacation time and then earned additional time as one's tenure grew???

But no.....amongst other nefarious reasons as to why 2u has chosen to instate UPTO - it was to add to their peacocking presentation of " aren't we the best?! We care soooo much about you and your hard work!! Work hard/play hard!!! Unlimited means unlimited!!! Wait....... are you really taking unlimited PRO????!!!! No, no, no......unlimited Does Not Actually Mean - Unlimited.....it really means that there are some limits... actually, it means there are A lot of limitations---and you should know that is what the word means!! Why aren't you understanding us?!?! This would work, but for you employees who are not getting the fact that Unlimited PTO does not, nor never has meant, Unlimited PTO! Why are you not understanding?!"
2u-- you're disgusting!

When I left the company, the amount of UPTO abuse was absurd. It really should be regulated and monitored.

Unlimited PTO is unlimited pto, after 20days, you may require secondary approval. But please ignore the generous 13 paid holidays, half day Fridays in summer and generous winter break. Nothing will ever be good enough. Ask for and inch and expect a mile

I hit it at 15 lol, so much for not needing additional approvals until 20...

For those brand new to this place, it's more than less "generous."
For those who've wasted 5 or more years--it's just another insult!

But, everything they touch is stripped bare of integrity or simple 'do right!'

It wouldn't be 2u if that wasn't the case!

Thinking they should rebrand to GBNU generous but not unlimited. Let’s cut the cr-p. They love acronyms!
