Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

12.3 million to keep chuck out of the soup kitchen

As peasants they expect us to be ok with this i'm sure. What a joke for management, terrible year but here's 12 mil for your incompetence. They tell us everyone should look for cost saving measures but the elephant in the room is this wasteful spending along with 200 + vp's yet that just keeps on keeping on because they won't vote their circle off the island. Sinking ship that pays it's executives more for hitting the icebergs, wow!

This place is ran like the US government only this place can't print money outta thin air.

Without the employees busting butt and putting product out he couldn't make this much, without employees he is nothing! Sounds like a Strike needs to start!! They need to start cutting from the Top and coming down instead of doing layoffs and hurting families that are struggling to survive.

Didn't US based employees lose their 401 contributions from CommScope, yet CEO gets his fat bonus?

Wake up people!

Comm cost saving measure should be cut all from director level to VP. They do nothing but su-king all hard working staffs benefits. To be honest, this company will not last long either ways, if I were you, I would jump ship asap!

Calm down dingle, No it doesn't matter that most of the 12.3 is only earned. The CEO and certainly other executives received a 16% pay increase! How is this justified given the state of this company. Cut, cut, cut, reduce, etc. is all that has been preached to "help the bottom line" yet his salary increase could have paid out raises for all of NC Cable, get real.

Hey soup starter - does it matter that most of the $12.3 million is only earned over the next three years if the company achieves certain financial results ? Or are you a two second Tommy.

I worked with a guy at @Home who made his title on the org chart to say "Managing Manager of Management". Just as a poke in the eye at all the directors, VPs etc. Seems like whatever company you're at, there's more of "management" than actual workers.
