Just curious when you think ADP may plan more layoffs? So far haven't heard anything.

@6gyv+14XNSaoK Ahh nope I’m good! Not my job to issue to the press
I happen to agree with you, but may I suggest you take the lead and report it to the news outlets. I am sure Carlos would like the press.
@4zbt+14XNSaoK I agree and if as Carlos states he is trying to be transparent, they should make that info public.
@4eni+14XNSaoK This whole situation stinks and is very scary.
My co worker was furloughed and they are a CRM in RPO
@4imi+14XNSaoK Can u share what department she is working in? I feel like RPO will be hit hard.
anyone know what areas???
Yes. They have started contacting people. My co worker got the call this morning. They contact you through web ex and ask you to hop on a call.
does anyone know if people were already told or when people know who is out???
So where is the executive team's pay cut? How many people could be paid from Carlos' salary?
@4gmt+14XNSaoK I looked it up and yes we will still get unemployment. Furlough is what you want though because you will get to keep adp insurance.
Should be eligible for unemployment while on furlough or laid off plus there's the current $600 bonus per week, that could possibly be extended thru December. That $600 is tax exempt.
@4gmt+14XNSaoK You should get unemployment right with a furlough
I wish we could have a choice to be laid off or furloughed. I cannot be unpaid for 90 days. This whole thing is scary !
Any specifics on exec pay cuts? What percentage? Any more than 1%? lol
500 Furloughs and 500 reductions coming in the next few days - just announced from Carlos
CEO and senior management pay cuts reduction of OT and reduction of contractors.
Good luck everyone!
Who is getting the boot tomorrow? Sales, Service, executives that make way to much money and don’t have any reports and you don’t know what they do? Is it furloughs, layoffs, early retirement packages?
Layoffs and furloughs being announced tomorrow morning. Ship keeps sinking. Tries to keep looking like a luxury yacht but it’s really a beat up dingy. Good luck all!
I worked at ADP for over 30 years. Anyone who believes a massive layoff is not coming is not living in reality. All of the economic indicators that work in favor of ADP are now working against it. By that i simply mean interest rates and hiring. When those are good ADP prospers when those go bad ADP looses it's as simple as that. Everyone should be working on their resumes and not make any assumptions it can't happen to them. I wish everyone good luck!
@ypk+14XNSaoK: They're BU-specific, not global. The recordings are posted on the BU ADPworks page. Access is typically granted only to members of that BU.
How do we see these Town Halls? People have mentioned some, but who has access to them?
CVP announced on Tuesday in Town Hall that there will certainly soon be RIF due to Covid...that they are strategizing how/when to make the cuts. Due to client loss and new hire onboarding program being halted, associates whose work has dried up will possibly move to areas where new work has fallen upon us due to almost daily new Covid regulations. Some associates have already pivoted to working in call centers. When a VP was asked about RIF strategy in follow-up to Town Hall, there was stammering. "We are an HR company so you can be sure that we are looking at options," "I'm not prepared to talk about that yet." Also heard that there would be a comm about the corporate-wide strategy on Friday or Monday.
@pdx+14XNSaoK I get hearing things, I wish we had more concrete evidence. Where have these rumors been heard, who said that we would have lay offs, etc. I’m curious where the date of May 18 came from?
Some were saying May 18th. I don't know personally but it is highly highly likely many more are coming. The question is timing.
