I managed to get an offer with 30 percent higher pay, but unfortunately, there was something else I didn't like about it. However, it is only now that I am realizing how much I am underpaid here. I'm interested in how much higher pay did you get in your new companies?

@4ijd+1fBWI1Ov TR is not contributing anymore. So we keep what we have up to 12/31/22.
@4ijd+1fBWI1Ov: Do you lose your pension entirely or is TR not contributing anymore?
Nope...under 3% raise and I am a high performing employee with almost 20 years here. Definitely will not be starting 2023 with TR.
Anyone else get a much bigger April pay bump than past years? I was pleasantly surprised by my pay increase and bonus uplift. Apparently to better align with peers (so I’ve obviously been underpaid) and to “retain key talent”. Wondering how widespread this was. I was honestly getting the itch to look, but this decreases that desire a bit.
I got around a 60% raise for a like position at a different company. TR has underpaid for years, which (as evidenced by the turnover and trouble filling positions) is coming back to bite them in the age of the great resignation.
I was correctly told 40 years ago by a coworker that the way you make money in corporate America, and it’s not just Thomson Reuters by the way, is by changing jobs.
I left at the the start of the year. At my new job, my base pay went up 26% and my bonus doubled. From a total comp standpoint, my compensation went up 42%.
This company would be so much better if we just eliminated all roles currently in Canada and Switzerland. So many of TR’s issues stems from those “leaders” not understanding a damn thing about the business
I left recently for a significant increase in income with benefits that are good/better, and I love the new job. The opportunities are out there. I knew I had to make a change because so long as the current management is in charge, it will get worse before it implodes.
I just ran the numbers for my salary here compared to what I started at. Factoring in inflation I make less.
We are all under paid. The system is set up to limit your financial growth. They only way to get more is to leave. Why would I want to move up the ladder here for a 5% - 10% pay increase when you can leave for a 30% - 50% or more increase.
I took a different route and got overemployed. I doubled my pay. I don’t want to be rewarded with more work for doing a good job. I want to to be paid for it.
