Oh I can’t wait for Boeing WA negotiations when it comes time for the new contract. Most of these millennials, Gen Y, & Z will too vote for the lump sum up front & wage increase. Boeing will just keep on taking more from your benefits....SMH

They laid off over 20,000 people for Covid alone 2 years ago or were you to busy sleeping at you cubicle to notice?

Compare that layoff to the layoffs at the other major aerospace companies during the same timeframe then get back to me.

Boeing is a terrible company that’s treats their employees like temps.

Depends. If you are a white male over 40 you will be at the top of any layoff list. They openly discriminate on the basis of age and race (against the white race). If you a minority or a female should be fine until you reach retirement age, then you too will likely be eliminated at the next major round.

They like to create the illusion of growing. In reality they simply layoff older workers and replace them with college grads, a continuous revolving door.

BDS loses most competitions to Grumman, Lockheed, and Raytheon. They usually announce layoffs within days sometimes hours of losing a competitive bid.

If you going to work in the defense sector I would try to avoid Boeing, unless you want to get laid off and retire.
