Who are these trolls who keep posting "THE LAYOFFS ARE COMING! THE LAYOFFS ARE COMING!" every single month?
It's almost like having Chicken Little as your life coach.
I think the same guy posted recently, and it was some Sales firings due to low performance. Those are NOT layoffs.
The bitterness is palpable, folks.
It’s confirmed, letters have gone out and people have been told. No severance package except for 30 days. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been there. Remember, not all layoffs or public, especially right before the holidays when it would be such bad optics!
Heard that 50% of the Enterprise team is under 80% of their number. The layoff decision is if you are consistently under 80% of the last couple quarters, you’re being let go.
If only they would do the same for management. How do you have a VP of enterprise sales not hit their number (maybe once if Jackie is lucky) and they still allow her to stay there. Oh yeah, now I remember, DEI.
I was always told you know what kind of company you work for when you leave them. Congratulations NetApp on being the biggest dumpster fire in our industry! Next!!!!
The monthly rumors os the next layoff that's just around the corner.
What started?
It has started! GET READY!!!
NetApp actively recruiting. There is no layoff planned this month.
Dont believe all the trolls.
OK, so by November 14th then. Who else is setting a reminder to come back to this thread on that date? Show of hands?
Before enrollment begins?
Bring it on!
about time. The Security Department should lay them all off. Even their VP resigned recently to grow weed. BYE BYE
Any NetApp managers or directors on this site throw us a bone, give us a heads up?
Well bud…..we’re waiting!!!!
Is there an upcoming layoff or not? Will Santana Row be impacted?
@4htz+1p4OBzyq A WARN filing comes after the layoff once those are let go are put on garden leave. It's usually within a few days. NetApp had a layoff that was public on 1/31/23 and the WARN filing happened later that week.
But with all of that said, THERE IS NO FU--ING LAYOFF. STOP LISTENING TO THE TROLLS.
As per California WARN act, 60 days notice must be given. Nothing on the web site today 10/17/23 says there is a layoff. Historically, layoffs do occur during this time. If they want to complete this in 2023, that means near end of October it has to be announced and filed: https://edd.ca.gov/en/jobs_and_training/layoff_services_warn
Major overhaul of metrics, monitoring and reporting. We're watching you! More than likely it'll be 30 days from now. Quarters up.
Again? Which geos/locations please.
If you know so much. Don’t you know NetApp does layoffs only on Tuesdays ?
You promise?
Welcome to NetApp
what absolute bs, someone spreading unwanted rumours
Any sources for this "confirmed" layoff?
Confirmed next Monday 10/16?
So You will either get a severance package or a pink slip, not both?
Confirmed monday
After Q2 ended was the prediction. Low performers have been identified. They are coming for heads after Halloween before Thanksgiving. 🥲
