Like I said before, you're a corporate HR shill and a matter of time before your job is replaced (:
I RTO and swipe in but I immediately drive to one of my suppliers and work from there. Much better to work from there. I feel like I am in a prison, when working from my cube.
Speaking as someone at another OEM that’s already been through this. HR there kept track of badge swipes and folks that didn’t come in as required got nailed on their reviews or let go. Remote workers (legitimate, agreed with HR) also seemed unfairly targeted during performance reviews because it seemed HR wanted the workforce cleansed of remote workers after RTO.
Obviously different companies but since they are always copying one another just some thoughts to consider.
@5wj+1jjt7jym0 not at all. People started doing this when Ford did RTO and now they check everyone's badges for compliance. Don't be the person who makes this worse for everyone else.
found the corporate HR shill
Ah that recycled air, the sounds of people coughing all day. What a great use of our time.
@e6+1jjt7jym0 intend to be let go then. They are making sure people stick to the guidelines that management put out for each group
In house Engineering is allowed to work 3 - 5 days a week.
All design staff has been told they are on 5 days a week, 'to align' with engineering staff. Most of that staff is out of the country and are contract.
Good! Tired of being asked to take pictures and video for everyone working from home. If you want to solve a problem come in and review it.
I hired on as full remote. I work out of a cabin in the TN backwater. There is no office nearby. Only untamed land and critters.
memo posted on reddit, welp looks like SBU folks r ph--kkeed
that begs the million dollar question, what bout those who are REMOTE in the other continental states and don't reside in the mid-west?
2 days a week, big deal
I intend to wfh. Meeting my objectives. No complaints.
