Mattel holding on to that license is pure desperation. DC is a clunker. Always has been. when that tool SN was heading up the DC Universe lines it was quite entertaining seeing him essentially beg people to sign up for matty collector. His departure was epic and most enjoyable.
Holding onto DC/Warner is because they have nothing else in an older boys license.
WB just fired Diane Nelson, president DC Entertainment yesterday. She also served as president of consumer products. News on the licensing deal should be coming soon.
Speaking of WB aren't they supposed to announce who gets their toy license soon?
