Why the down vote on actual percentages? Don't like hearing the reality?
Among my colleagues willing to discuss it all were in the 2.5 - 2.8% range, except one at 3.1% who believes it was due to being low in the band.
Did TA's get 6+ % then?
3% Achiever about 24th percentile of salary range.
Don't forget to post your merit percentage here! (Merit increase divided by CURRENT salary).
Include the percentage (you have to calculate as above) where you are in your salary band, and what your performance rating was (TA, A, or LA).
This should be fun.
@5cee+1fDHl8x8 - I know since I have AWS with Mondays off and my manager was nice enough schedule my meeting at the end of Friday.
@5apz+1fDHl8x8 - lucky you, only got the 2.8% despite being way, way below the midpoint after being told I was I moved into the HTHD program in December. Now instead of being close enough to mid-point I'm now significantly under it. Since new hires come in near the mid-point (unless they don't know how to research &/or negotiate) I guess it's a hint to take my skills in high demand elsewhere.
Real, really? How do you already know, comp discussions aren't supposed to happen until Monday.
@4gsl+1fDHl8x8 I told you
@4dsq+1fDHl8x8 The HTHD program is a joke. All it means for most employees is a slight bump in your bonus target. Maybe if you are on the friends and family plan you can get some piddly stock grants out of it. Most people will not see any change to their base salary when classified as HTHD.
got my info today and it's a whopping 2.8% for achiever despite being moved into the hthd program and below that mid-point by 15%
short story, effectively a 5% pay cut for most of us
The sentiment is you are lucky to have a job, and will be lucky to have a job after the cull.
The Ford management is all to happy to dispatch the highest paid and highest skilled as it keeps them employed while also dispatching threats to their positions. Ford management is trapped. They don’t have marketable skills and are cornered and dangerous.
Be mediocre, stop complaining and maybe they will let you survive the cull.
@4dsl+1fDHl8x8 They aren't reviewing squat. You will find out Monday what your "merit" is.
Around 4% for TA, 2.5% for A. Nothing for LA. And it will be less than that if you are already past the midpoint of your salary range.
Management has given no thought about inflation. Enjoy your 5% pay cut thanks to inflation.
I don't think merit raises have been announced yet.
I am pretty sure they are reviewing how well the bonus announcement went over.
And that inflation is at 8%.
Yes, they are slow.
Yes, they live in their own world.
They also know what is coming next union contract.
Salaried folk can also form a union.
We shall see .......
Sniffles the new most common Ford ailment. Previously food poisoning.
If they want me to drive in....I have the sniffles.
Top achiever or not, no one is getting a raise that matches inflation. The closer you are to midpoint, the smaller your raise.
As for this return to work nonsense: after working from home for 2 years, with inflation through the roof and gas over $4 a gallon, there is no way I'm driving to Dearborn. If they need me that bad, they can reimburse my mileage to cover fuel and wear / tear.
What I find more interesting is how these automotive corporations are walking in lockstep with each other, from the timing of muzzle up, to muzzle off, to work from home, to now work a few days in the office, to now, merit increases. It's all relatively the same on average in timing and increases. Our increase is on par with what is mentioned here.
As for inflation, that's another topic, but I remind everyone similar to prior to 2008, inflation was raging, until magically we found ourselves in significant and crushing deflation. Those that had cash, were king. What we are in now, in my honest opinion, is 2008 on steroids. Just as extreme are the moves in inflation, will be just as extreme in crushing deflation before long.
The only question is....what will be the event that creates that crushing deflation? Not to mention, that crushing deflation also created significant job loss within the automotive sector, and beyond.
What, are you a top achiever? Stop bragging. Normies aren't getting that.
With our inflation rate at 8% and the cost of everything has gone up 25% to 50%, how is it justify to provide our employees at merit increase of 2.5 to 3 percent? Ford needs to do better for our employees.
After Monday, everyone should come here and post their merit percentage. Should be eye-opening.
Don't forget to put your percentile in your salary band.
Oh that's nice, effectively more than a 5% pay-cut once taking inflation into account.
I suppose that extra 54% on AICP we got for letting the greed cat out of the bag makes it all better. For GSR8 mid-point it was about 4 1/4% of pay, so even combined it's still less than inflation. So... not really better.
The achiever % I saw were all in the 2.25% range, and that was for people below 50% of salary band.
