CTO is leaving and a Dir level from the software group in Austin will replace.... Can't even get stuff done without begging his direct reports and they can play hard ball even better ...so whoever said he is gone soon... were spot on. Another fake CTO bites the dust!

Spot on...guy has no power and real decision making abilities. I can confirm that HR, IT and finance do not automatically do what he wants. Guy can’t even order a printer without someone else approval. The VP of HR makes him go through hoops that the first CTO and moons did not have to do. As for finance well... the printer tells it all.
What a mess
Any CTO need to be powerful. If he can’t fire those people that enabled the first CTO, can’t even tell HR, IT or finance to make anything go... what does it tell you? If he is indecisive and need other CTOs to tell him what to do what do you think will happen? Spin and more spin

Wasn't he working with that guy that was in Homes and started granite which pushed Homes into the ditch? I bet that CTO is no leader, if he cant do anything in HR, Projects, IT, Software, Hardware today, he won't tomorrow. He is known to be scared all the time. Contrary to those HON type that act crazy but get stuff done,... Himanshu, Mehul... and more. We got the frightened mouse. I bet he is running to real CTOs for how to tuck his shirt the right homes way.... Somebody should check this.

As for the CTO he can’t make decisions so he will end up being pushed out of not already. I bet he never encountered a software and hardware group like this... who knows he may be crying for help to Mehul / Manish at a CTO level... if true that would confirm he can’t make decisions and is paralyzed .
Guys the real problem are the Austin directors that are overpaid and learning on the job.... the Melville people waiting for retirement and directing the Corp in circle...

Back to the original quesition that keeps getting dodged. What makes you say that "all of the negative complaints come out of bangalore" when timestamps make it clear that they dont? Are you being racist? Can you do better? Because I think bangalore was falsely blamed because the posts "sound brown" to you. You should really ask yourself these questions. But if you'd rather blindly tell yourself that you are a good person without any introspection or feedback as to whether it is valid or not you can go vegan or something.

We are an equal opportunity dumpster fire/train wreck. Blame is on everyone since we have failed miserably to get any meaningful products out since 2016. Barely keep the legacy running. Get a clue, HW didn't dump us because we were great. Loaded us up with dead wood and cut us loose. First CTO was an uneducated fraud but that didn't stop a cadre of yes men from enabling him to make things even worse. Current one was fired from HW so guess what, he isn't going to change things for the better. He did nothing in HW, why would that change?

Like the current crew of directors he will milk the company for as much as he can while talking ...Perfect fit for pre bankrupt Corp and it reflects on the leadership of the company ..... would not be surprised if he has another job lined up after new year. Rezi should start suing those people.

If this is true then something is fundamentally wrong. Either the sale is coming quicker than he was told in his interviews or he is just now realizing that he is only a talking head until the sale is completed. Or maybe he is just finding out that a sale is happening? Who knows? Sad times.

It seems that he wants to quit because he doesn't have the courage to fire people.... maybe someone can check if he had the same issue (spinning and lack of Bxxls) before? Either way no products are really coming out, everyone has excuses, like PMO, Hardware, Software... Marketing... at least SHaddy shows pictures of his expensive boat while raking the cash and lay-off happens
Wow! Barely 2 months! I really hope they don't take someone from the software org. We are a hardware producer and retailer. Pretending that we are something different is how we ended up here.
He was there 3 months I think. Is that a record? Maybe he is now eligible for social security and Resideo was a stop gap until then. Lol
When will we realize. We are a dying company with no prospects, no innovation, nothing in the pipeline and shrinking sales, shrinking revenue and shrinking customer base. We will never attract ant talent so why are we surprised?
