"Move on now..." Easier said than done. Also, we don't exist to the people that matter.
Tech Recruiters, like our now few customers, have no interest in engaging with Omnissa employees. We've reached a point of irrelevance in the enterprise tech marketplace.
Move on now before the time comes where recruiters discard your application just because your associated with Omnissa.
Just do as little as you can and look for better roles. Learn to play the game. This ship is done.. all KKR companies su-k, like them you need to know how to extract max benefit with as little effort as possible. The is place requires you to generate a bunch of work that is utterly useless and will either not work or just not get implemented.
KKR will continue to apply all the ways it has previously used to cut costs with prior acquisitions. Their playbook is somewhat predictable. The current economic environment and its impact on new jobs mean there will be more cuts in the works. It's inevitable.
This is both the standard PE playbook and totally normal for a KKR acquisition. It will keep going downhill over time.

Welcome to the US where big parts of your salary are considered some form of bonus/option and the employer can cut them down whenever they want.
It's a real pity that people in our industry are so allergic to the term "union." Since we lack many of the protections that exist in other countries, collective bargaining is the only reasonable way to stop this sort of abuse.
