I'd love to see the linkedin posts start to use this tag as well #exxodus. Anyone who has already found a job elsewhere willing to start tagging in the comments area on LinkedIn?

In over 30 years at EM I have never been laid off or know another employee that was laid off. I knew many who moved from other companies giving up vacation, seniority, higher pay/profit sharing. They came to EM for the stability and the benefits. This is a big deal and I bet most of those are regretting coming over to EM. The low risk of layoffs was a good selling point for hiring employees.

"Grow up. Layoffs are part of the risk working for that high paycheck you earn in the O&G business."

Have you had your head in the sand? Still more contractors need / will be cut. They are wrapping up their work. Employees are also needing to be cut to get the cash flow positive. Contractors aren't going to save anything.

You must be a manager that thinks he is keeping his job. Good luck with that. And why grow up? Its highly over-rated.
