Sean Butin has dumped 300,000 of his stock in last 2 two months. He holds a ton still.

To the person who was misled and let go only to be told they need to train others before receiving severance… I’m so sorry! Unfortunately this is the ‘Sabre Way’…. They use you and then discard you. :(

Regarding this stupid SHIFT it’s just a bunch of BS. I’m sorry but I don’t buy any of that sh*t anymore!

Don't knock the shift. They have been working on it for months.

More new buzz words by consultant’s. Let’s see if the restarted business makes a difference… How many employees and customers will be offloaded or jump voluntarily…

and no announcements made re a new layoff of course. My sincere commiserations and best wishes to those who are impacted. However, I am sure this big Shift to the right is going to make out lives so much better. Where does this cr-p come from. I read that and my instant reaction is youve gotta be joking right?

Well now it's official. We're all in the shift.

Enjoy the shift sandwich when the shift hits the fan.

">>" is a right shift so it means something is shrinking. What? The stock price? Check. The number of employees? Check. The inflation adjusted pay? Check. Reliability? Check.

Anything good shrinking?

I've asked my manager about this: the rebranding etc. and he claims he does not know a thing about it....yeah right.

I’m sure this wave was only Southlake. Gotta get rid of all the highly paid employees especially those who have been with Sabre 20 or more years. I have a feeling if their earning are bad another bigger wave is coming.

So Sad and Maddening how Sabre Mgmt is treating employees now. Seems diabolical how Mgmt is winding down Southlake, hard not to take personal after so much has been expected of and given by employees to now get treated this way.

It’s happening again in Southlake. I was just notified within the last several days that I’m being let go, and I was told that others are being laid off at this time, too. Was told that the decision about me was made back in May, yet I got a raise in July and right up to receiving the notification was preparing to take on more responsibilities. It’s hard not to feel that I was intentionally misled. Instead of letting me go immediately, they now have me training others to do my job before I can collect my severance. I was told that this is because of all the expertise I accumulated over the years I was employed at Sabre. If my skills are so valuable, I have to wonder why I’m being let go. My colleagues are shocked and don’t feel ready to take on everything I do. Others I work with outside my team are stunned, too. Everyone’s asking me why I didn’t tell them back in May (sounds like it’s being implied that I actually knew back then). When I tell them that’s not the case, they wonder if they’ll be next. It’s a complete mess.
