WASHINGTON - All four engines of the core stage of NASA's deep space
exploration rocket built by Boeing were ignited for the first time Saturday,
but only briefly.
Space Launch System’s (SLS) 212-foot-tall core stage roared to life at
4:27 p.m. local time for just more than a minute —
well short of the roughly four minutes engineers needed to stay on track for
the rocket's first launch this November.

The expendable super heavy-lift SLS is three years behind schedule
and nearly $3 billion over budget.
Critics have long argued for NASA to retire the rocket’s shuttle-era core
technologies, which have launch costs of $1 billion or more per mission,
in favor of newer commercial alternatives that promise lower costs.

By comparison, it costs as little as $90 million to fly the massive but less
powerful Falcon Heavy rocket designed and manufactured by Elon Musk's
SpaceX, and some $350 million per launch for United Launch Alliance's legacy
Delta IV Heavy.

We the tax payers don’t count, common sense is out
The Congress is check-out high on power
Boeing is stoned on hubris feeding on arrogance based on self accolades,
Boeing Boondoggles are the result…

Did anyone check to see if they mistakenly installed MAX software on the rocket?

They laid off all the BDS engineers in Puget Sound and instead replaced them with level one engineers at other nonunion sites. This is a direct result of that decision. As long as the bean counters think experience isnt valuable and a level one engineer can do the work of a level three or four these are the kind of results you’re going to get.

Boeing is part of NASA? OMG! My dream has come true! I’m going to turn on my green lights for the International Space Station custodial technician grade 14.

The premature end, before engineers collected a full array of data,
represented another hurdle for Boeing’s space program.
The SLS rocket has been plagued by years of delays and billions of dollars
in cost overruns.
The program has broad support in Congress because of the federal contracts
and jobs it offers across many states.

Boeing Space; Nineteen Seventy’s Technology Resurrected
Just like the Max; Nineteen Sixty’s Technology with Lipstick

The only thing moving ahead with Boeing is its reputation moving into the
Dustbin of History

Congress needs to Go
Boeing needs to Go

That makes four huge programs Boeing has screwed up on all under the leadership of Leanne Caret. And what happens to her? Nothing and she still gets her millions in salary and bonus. She will eventually walk out the door with 62 million just like Dennis Muilenberg did.

Boeing lost Bomber program to Nortrupt
AF Tanker years late in delivery and costing Boeing so much money it's laughable.
Boeing sends Starliner crew capsule in wrong orbit. Lucky no one was onboard!!
Now Boeing's Moon Rocket Ground test fails.

NASA would be smart to cancel all Boeing contracts this week

If Elon Musk could become Boeing CEO, he would fire all execs and 60%+ of the rest of employees.
