Ask them how many people have left their team and company in the last 12 to 18 months? A whole lot. There's a reason. You should probably ask bp/bpx why?
Watch them make up something.
This place is ok to get your foot through the door of the Industry. If you are a new hire right out of university then go for it but don't stay longer than 2 years. You won't grow. No upward advancement opportunities are here unless you are connected to a chosen few.
Be ready for people to be territorial with their work and steal your ideas. Don't expect pay and benefits to keep pace with industry standards.
Ask them about turnover rate in Reservoir Engineering, Geo, IT, HR, and Family/Friend/Frat/Sorority/Sandridge connections. Google some key last names. You'll connect a lot of dots.
CEO, CFO, Global CEO all recently left or were removed/walked out by police. Look into it. Trust me. Do your homework. You may think you can avoid this nonsense but it'll hit you at some point. If you do take the job just know what you're getting into and walk in with a mindset that its a stepping stone job to something better.
Hopefully, bp turns it around someday. If not then there's not much else to say.
