The woman in charge of the region that caused the weights and measures scandal that had serious consequences on WFM's reputation across the country is being rewarded as Global All Star. The same year the scandal broke! Sure, the NE makes a lot of money for the company, but it's also the region where Core Values go to die. Does this make sense to anyone?

Of course she's an All-Star---just think of all the money the company made on those flawed weights/measures that she was either inexcusably unaware of or perhaps deliberately looking the other way on. Even after paying fines, the company probably came out ahead! So, it only makes sense that such a corrupt organization as WFM has become would reward unethical behavior! Once upon a time, the All Star award meant something (at least 10 years ago) good. Now, if you want to know who some of the worst, most dishonest, most incompetent leaders are at WFM, just check out the All-Star list (apologies to anyone who may have recently earned this reward honestly although I don't know how you managed to do that in the corrupt culture that WFM has become).
They should give her entire family an all star award. She so F-cking valuable. #wholefoodsmarket

Unfortunately F0bqX72-ayad, you're wrong about the stealing part. Some TLs in my store straight up steal product CONSISTENTLY and REPEATEDLY, and the ASTL and STL know about this but do nothing. Wanna know why? That TL has some absolutely dope weed, is why, and he smokes up the STL. Pretty sweet deal for them, just not for the rest of the store.
So Ms. Minardi you giving up your bonus to pay the 500 grand? No you laid off all the people who were running your sham. Shame on you....sick corporate creeps.
No one in charge ever seems to be held accountable. This is the perfect example. It's always "he/she is learning from their mistakes. They'll do better next time." If you are a TL or in regional, unless you actually steal, there seems to be no accountability for poor performance. STL's seem not to have the authority to step down a TL. And that affects morale for TM's in the stores.
When you are a seasoned veteran in your job, you're not supposed to make these kinds of mistakes with weights and measures. When you lay off whole departments in order to improve your numbers for one year, your company will pay for it down the road. Eliminating the SSI positions in every store has a lot to do with the weights and measures problems now. Eliminating ISE/ISF and reinstating every two-three years causes huge problems in the ranks, with being able to promote knowledgeable TM's.
And regarding the Holiday Blitz walks, I totally agree. Why don't the regional people introduce themselves and say hello, and stop checking emails on their phones in the store while they're walking or standing? Which is an event for which the rest of us would be written up.
