Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

TOO BIG TOO FAIL! BOEING WILL BE HERE FOREVER

Enough of this fear mongering. Layoff this layoff that... Boeing isn't going anywhere. Nor I am going unless it's Boeing!

Cope, haters.

Layoffs will continue until morale improves. Will the last person in Seattle turn out the lights?

NCR. National Cash Register. Look up the history of that great company

AT&T bought NCR and destroyed it. Just like what MCD did to Boeing.

Too big to fail ? .....Let's take a look at history.....

Sears that built the huge skyscraper in Chicago, could have been the next Amazon
Eastman Kodak that used to make all the film, but refused to change
Enron the energy services company that was just a big ponzi scheme
Grants Dept Stores that extended humungus amounts of credit to deadbeats
Penn Central Railroad the largest bankruptcy in the USA up to 1970..has shade so the MCD and Boeing merger
Blockbluster could have been the next Netfix

Just because you foreclosed on your house, it doesn't mean the house will be torn apart. You lost it, somebody else will take over it and fix it.

Definitely got the fail part right. Been failing since Douglas took over. Ignorance knows no history.

Too big to fail. Hmm. Just like the banks. The only part of Boeing that wont fail Is the space and defence side. Be cause we will pay for it. McDonald Douglass some thought was too big to fail also. Guess what happened next?

Lol ok but that won’t happen for at least another 100 years. Even if MAX crashes again this won’t bring the company down.
There will always be cash coming in as long as there are taxpayers!

Too-big-to-fail is a front-line philosophy, and you are correct that is the position the government will take. But the private Enterprise of commercial airline industry and not wanting to buy their products will eventually bring them down. The too-big-to-fail will only apply to what the government can control and that will be the military side of things. They will continue to funnel money in Boeing and allow substandard and dangerous product for military personnel. But at some point these government subsidies will not be enough for this company.

Crestview sucks, but I'd rather be there than Boeing. Boeing is ten times worse.
